The funny thing is the top guys at each position will probably be guys that are barely getting any votes or are not even options. Its probably going to look something like this:

Matt Ryan

Ryan Mathews

Steve Johnson

Dustin Keller

Or even guyswho are more unlikely, look at last years:

Michael Vick

Arian Foster

Brandon Lloyd

JAson Witten

Other than Witten, nobody would have guessed any of these guys at this point last year.

RB: other, my bet is it'll be someone not listed

WR: AJ if he plays all 16

QB: Peyton, with their running game such a mess they will ask him to do more than he already does, plus he would of been QB1 last ye if he didn't have those 11 ints in 3 weeks

TE: Gates

I think the guys voting Vick are going to be disappointed, I doubt he'll even be top 5. He exposed at the end of the season and in the playoffs.

Also, Finley as TE1 is kind of crazy... can the guy have 1 good complete season before we crown him #1.

The poll question is who do you think of going to finish #1 at each position. We aren't crowning him, thats just who we think will finish a the #1 TE.How many of last years players that finished #1 have every done it before? Foster and Lloyd were never even close before.

Some non-standard guesses (note: not necessarily who I'd pick with money on the line, but guys that I think have a much better chance than anyone thinks to be #1 at their position.)

Matt Ryan

Lesean McCoy

Mike Wallace

Vernon Davis

I agree with your view on Vick. However, Finley was leading the league for TE yards before he went down last season. Add that to the fact that Driver is breaking down with age, I see no problem with people annointing Finley as their TE #1.

Since he hasn't had an injury free season yet and because they drafted Randall Cobb and said they will throw to other people more I do. I would like to see him line up outside a lot more and not be an inline TE like he did several times last year (not in the slot-on the opposite side), but they haven't said they'll do that.

Sounds like Jimmy Graham is more like the player you want then

gore

calvin

rivers

gates

gore has a rookie coach and a rookie QB. they could resign smith either way he is their best option on a team that will have more than a few challenges getting their passing game cranking.

calvin gets my nod as the guy who will be getting the long bombs against defenses who are not as fit physically or mentally because of the lockout.

i like rivers for the same reason as calvin; going up against competition with his a cannon for an arm should make for some high scores. plus with little to throw to consistently last year he was still up a top FQB.

if rivers is my top QB than gates gets the TE spot. being the recipient of those long stretch passes will crown him.

will any of this happen probably not my choices are guys who are usually in the top 5 range or are about to finish there hold for a bad injury which is just as likely as happening again, and having a bunch of nobodies or hasbeens come out and take their scoring roles.

it could just as well be britt, spiller, E. manning, and kevin boss.

i tell you what if i had gore, calvin, rivers, and gates on my team i would be a very happy camper.
