Because (a) I have a 75% chance, I believe, of getting to the final round in my league, (b) I have ten starters with only four on my bench, © waiver wire pickups stop THIS week in my league, I have to prepare for this now. I have WAYYY too many players on my team that could be affected:
Peyton Manning- If Indy wins and the Steelers lose, is there a good chance he will sit in week 16? Even if that does not happen, is there a good chance he will sit anyway? And if he does sit, is Sorgi a good pick-up and start (most likely I will be matching up against Tom Brady's owner- no way Brady will be sitting, right?)
Addai- As per Peyton, will they rest him? And is Keith a good start then?
Ryan Grant- If the Pack locks down #2, would they rest him next week?
Brandon Jacobs- If the Giants lock down the first wildcard, might they rest his hamstring?
Terrell Owens- If the Cowboys secure #1 this week, will he rest next week?
Antonio Gates- With his hurt back, if the Chargers win the division this week, will they shut him down?
I have put together a fine team, designed to win me a championship, and now I see it all falling apart in week 16. Am I overreacting?
Besides these players which I own, there are plenty of other guys who might be affected by this (Farve, Romo, Barber, Wayne, etc.) Feel free to comment on who and who won't be a risk to start next week.
