It's horrible - always has been. I'm a sports addict and will watch just about anything but I have no interest and haven't in 15 years.

 
My wife has no idea this is not a real game. I am watching and she says "Wow..it looks like these teams are not even trying"

 
The NFL finally created a product I am happy to miss. Used to love the Pro Bowl too, but that was a long time ago now.

New pro bowl

Pros vs cons. Active vs suspended. Let's get it on.

Hell, new league. XFL needs to start up again. No rules. No suspensions.

God the pro bowl is stupid.

My take home from that is that I (and others like me - based on the poll results most FBG's didn't watch - which you would think a fantasy football based message board represents a much higher number of football fans than average) am no longer the target audience for that event, nor possibly the NFL as a whole.

I do remember thinking the Pro Bowl was cool when i was ages 13-21. Now as I'm much older I realize it's a stupid exhibition. There's no gimmick they could come up with that would make me watch. I'm shocked anyone would really care or bother watching.

Then again almost every single decision the NFL has made over the last several years I've perceived as a negative... delays leading to longer games, thursday night football, less contact, higher scoring/more passing etc.

So again.. if anything it's a microcosm of how I'm no longer the target audience... and I guess that just means i'm old

 
I took my little kids to the Pro Bowl and it was a lot of fun. I told them it was the super bowl and our team was the green team.(Carter) They cheered their heads off and were genuinely upset when "We" lost.

It is entertainment and my kids and women folk in my family who are not hardcore football fans liked it.

Pro Bowl highlights -

1. The Colts horse mascot beat patriot Pat to death with a chair.

2. The Stadium was full of Cardinals locals. So when they were conducting the interview of the Seahawks pro bowlers they were booed off the field.

3. They were announcing the winning flag football kids teams by age group from around the country and letting them run on the field. When the flag football kids age 8-10 representing the Seattle Seahawks ran onto the field we booed them off the field too, get that weak ### #### out of our building.

4. I don't know how they do it but the beers are always colder at NFL stuff that other events.

5. My kids thought they won the lotto when they got cotton candy AND M&Ms

6. JJ Watt really likes football, he was dancing and having a good time.

7. They were testing out the PAT from the 20 and really narrow goal posts.

8. Since the Seahawks were booed off the field they decided not to conduct the patriot Pro bowler interviews on the field.
