You are wrong about that. I was there tonight, and I've seen my share of electric Yankee Stadium moments. This was right up there with any. Absolutely amazing.Historical? Okay. A record in the first round. Yawn...I would rather be the one who won and didn't used to be a crack addict. You seriously think people will talk about this for awhile? I don't.

Why do you think I'm fishing. You think I would rather be a former crack addict who now is playing some great baseball?Historical? Okay. A record in the first round. Did they even talked to Morneau?Did you see the facial that Erin Andrews delivered? The contest is over, Morneau and Hamilton walk over and she puts a hand up to Morneau and goes right to Hamilton.
Nuff said.I agree with MB - Hamilton's performance was unbelievable. I won't even remember that Jason Morneau won by next year.
I think the question was posed as to who you would've wanted to be last night. Why are you so riled up about him being a former addict? He's an incredible natural talent that is beating some serious odds. And my answer is the same.I wouldn't have wanted to be Hamilton last night. The Hamilton you see today is the result of him getting over the crack addiction. I have no wanting desire to ever be that no matter what the end result is.I think the question was posed as to who you would've wanted to be last night. Why so angry, Vlad? Does Hamilton being an addict piss you off some how? I know from personal experience what it means for someone to go through the hell of an addiction and I also know what it means for someone to struggle with recovery and beat the addiction. While becoming an addict may be a sign of weakness I will testify the inner strength needed to beat the addiction is immense. Hamiliton may not be your cup of tea but he is trying to help others that are now in the predicament he was in and that makes him pretty cool in my book. And my answer is the same.I wouldn't have wanted to be Hamilton last night. Oh yeah. It's me bringing up his past. I'm the only one. Yeah. ESPN, Fox Sports, pretty much every F!n newspaper and such hasn't talked about any of his past. That's a good one Finless.
What serious odds? You make it sound like he is some hero. He isn't.

100%. But I think its an inherent problem when ESPN and virtually every other news outlet is rooting for him BECAUSE he was able to come back from addiction. The fawning last night was warranted but not for the reasons that the media kept force feeding us. Its cool that he's such a hot hitter and because of the show he put on in round one. But for boring, clean cut guys like Morneau, its a slap in the face. I genuinely felt bad for the guy last night. People were ####ting on him left and right because he was up against an ex-druggie.Hamiliton may not be your cup of tea but he is trying to help others that are now in the predicament he was in and that makes him pretty cool in my book.
I think "the story" is gone by Opening Day next year.Every Hamilton at bat, they redo his life story. Its getting wearisome.
How would you like a knuckle sandwich?#### anything Minnesota Twin.
