Who ya buying and who ya selling? (1 Viewer)

Not frantically trying to sell, but I have been trying to move Mendenhall the past week or so, as long as I get good value in return. Not liking his reduced touches, and Ben's presence hasn't resulted in better efficiency from Mendy up to this point. With Reggies coming back, I am also trying to move Lance Moore, but every owner in my league realizes Reggie's return is imminent, so I wouldn't get much for him.

Buy Lows:

-Jamaal Charles (Not exactly low, but owners have to be frustrated as to why he's not getting more touches)

-Sidney Rice (Since he's not back yet, if you have depth you could probably get him for a WR3 right now, and hope Farve gets that connection going again)

-Randy Moss (Owners seem to either be expecting big things in Tennessee or are over him)

-Cedric Benson (Has been quiet due to team falling behind early and going to the pass, but has some good match ups coming up: INDY, BUFF in 10/11)

-Zach Miller (Two quiet weeks and then a missed week. For how many TE's are dropping right now if you have a healthy one lying around you may be able to get Miller)

-Kyle Orton (Risky, but if he plays through week 17 you could try to convince the owner that Tebow will be playing because of their loosing record. Hello Houston week 17!)

-Pierre Garcon (Still not a big name guy, and had a quiet week, but he's one of the last men standing on the offense and has a legitimate shot at being a top 10-15 WR)

-Miles Austin (Value realistically can't get any lower, I don't think)

-Andre Johnson (Owner could be worried about the ankle injury and emergence of Foster)

-Brandon Marshall (Not having a GREAT season, and Henne doesn't seem to be on the same page, but he's still an Elite talent and getting targets)

-Austin Collie (Risky, but could probably get him for a bag of chips right now so a good stash and hope)

-DeAngelo Williams (Value couldn't get any lower, and if Moore is under center the team shows signs of life. Otah would be a huge plus as well)

-Nate Washington (Could be had cheap, and will most likely be TEN's #2 WR. Remember what Moss did for his former #2s? Welker/Harvin.

Sell High:

-LeGarette Blount (Had a good week, but if you can get a struggling elite level back it could pay off)

-Peyton Hillis (Only if you can get a top guy)

-Mike Sims-Walker (Would probably wait until after his matchup with Houston to sell high, unless the owner is willing to give more to get him before hand)

-Lance Moore (Reggie Bush coming back and Moore's been replacing Bush's role)

-Mike Williams TB (In a redraft, I'd look to get a low end #1 or high end #2. If you have depth and are looking to take a high upside risk, heres one example with a trade I made last week: Gave Mike Williams and received Randy Moss)

Selling Ryan Mathews for a bag of used footballs right now. Holy Cow, what a bust this year.

Looking to buy DeAngelo

What is realistic value for Marshall? It almost wouldn't be worth it, if his value is perceived that low.

quite honestly, I'm accepting offers for Andre Johnson. He's the 4th best WR on my team.
He can warm the bench along with Steve Johnson
S. Johnson riding the pine??? Wow,this guy has been a stud for the past 5 weeks against decent teams. S. Johnson should be started every week.
I have had him for 3 weeks only. I have Roddy White and Andre Johnson starting. I have had a hard time benching those 2. I start 2 WR, 2 RB and a flex. I been starting SJax, Bradshaw and Charles as my Rbs. If Roddy isnt ready for thursday, i'll start Steve J this week vs Det.

I just bought Nate Washington, love TEN's passing match-ups for the rest of the season. Moss is a wild card for Washington - will steal looks but will hopefuly open things up. FBG's Top 250+ doesn't like Nate's outlook but I do for what it's worth.

Agree with all but this^^^No way I trade the number one guy in Tampa for a double coverage, field stretching decoy with a bad attitude. Tenn is run first; plus we do not know what to expect out of Moss- but we know what we got in Tampa Mike. I will take good, steady points versus zero or hero points-everytime.

I sold Thomas Jones and Reggie Wayne for Peyton Hillis and Brandon Marshall at 12:30 yesterday before the 1:00 games

Jonathan Stewart may be an add to the buy list. Got to think eventually his talent will shine despite the situation in Carolina.

He's on my bench too. Behind TO,Nicks and Austin...think though after the Dallas game last night he might have found a spot in my lineup. Thanks Dallas.

Just sold TO and Crayton for Desean before the 1pm games. I have Rodgers and Vick at QB, so I might sell Rodgers before the playoffs and pair up Vick and Desean.

I'm trying to sell Brandon Lloyd for a QB: Big Ben or Vick. I like Lloyd but I'm willing to take a hit in my WR corps for a steady 20-25 pts out of Vick especially (I have Cutler).

I just sold LT prior to this week's games.

I needed WR help & I can't see him NOT taking a step back in the 2nd half of the year. The Jets offense has really regressed.

Personally I'd be buying both Andre Johnson and Brandon Marshall. You basically can't find a WR that doesn't go through bad stretches, even the elite ones. Remember the panic about Greg Jennings a month ago? And Johnson & Marshall > Jennings on pure talent.

With Blount I suspect the window of opportunity for trade temporarily closed after the game yesterday. He's got a decent schedule, so at this point I'd probably hold if you're up against the trade deadline.

I wouldn't sell Tampa Mike unless you have someone really looking to overpay for him. I think his actual value is higher than your average fantasy player perceives at this point. He's scoring TDs, and has been consistent for a WR. He just hasn't had the that 150 2TD that will make everyone really take notice.

trying to move Orton for a rb2. I can throw in d.brown. I have wells and LT as my rb2 now and would like 1 more behind Foster. Have nicks, mega, fitz and TB williams and my 3 wr's 1 flex and wont move any of them. BB is my qb, so hopefully orton can bring something back.

TB Williams is such a solid wr3/flex player. No way I would trade him.

he's the 13th ranked wr in my league which essentially puts him on the low WR1/high WR2 bubble. I'd be looking to buy, not sell.

sorry, I meant on my team. He is my flex player behind nicks, mega and fitz as my starting wr's.

Bought VJax last week. Should have tried to sell Andre Johnson last week but this last week will be scaring off potential buyers. Bought Steve Johnson a few weeks back but value might be too high now ...I'd be trying to buy Charles after a mediocre week - schedule is ripe and I'd play up TJones touches. Gotta think Haley eventually comes to his senses and starts giving the hottest RB in the league right now more carries....averaging 6 yds a carry. Also I'd be buying Randy Moss with a cake pass schedule and a system that will be tailored to his strengths....although last week would have been optimal timing.

though I'm not a fan of his SHONN GREENE should be on this list. fatassbigmouth will soon realize if he wants to make it to the subpar bowl this year he'll need a healthy LT to do it and Greene will begin to get many many more touches. In redraft leagues he should come pretty cheaply.

sell S.Smith CAR for anything you can get at this point..
Why sell now?
Moore on IR. He's droppable in redraft. I'd take a warm body for him....probably someone on WW that has more value now.
my point is you are more then likely to get nothing for him. If you can I suppose go for it but 99% of the players will scoff at you. I would pray to god that he has another 9-85 game in him somewhere down the line so you can sell.

For sure he has been solid, no huge games yet but very consistent in a PPR. My reasoning for trading him was risky, but I'm ok taking a chance on Moss because of Tennessee liking the deep ball, and his #1 S.O.S. for WR's the rest of the year. The chance to pair up Moss with Andre Johnson and Calvin Johnson, arguably the top three ranked receivers coming into the year was too much to pass up. If Moss doesn't work out, then I'm comfortable rolling with Pierre Garcon, Johnny Knox, and Steve Smith (was until Moore was placed on IR this morning.)

Agreed. Looks like the folks that saw the move to Miami as a big negative for Marshall were right. That offense is just not geared to produce big WR numbers.
Not a question for this season, but is there any way the Dolphins don't make an adjustment after this year? They gave up a lot (2 2s and the huge contract) for Marshall. Why pay that steep a price and not try to do more to make him the focal point?

I think he has helped their team, but it's not showing up in the stat sheet.
