Who's your top 5 rookie picks right now (1 Viewer)

1QB, here's where I think I'm at right now:
Jeanty
Hunter

Hampton
Tex

Judkins
Egbuka
Loveland
Kaleb Johnson
Henderson
Harvey
Higgins
Burden
Golden
Harris

Taylor
Bech
Warren
Williams
Skattebo

Blue
Etienne

Probably forgetting a few.
Not sure yet where the QBs fit in 1QB- Ward seems like sort of a low ceiling high floor. Back end QB1 is not that hard a role to fill. Milroe sky's the limit and Dart somewhere in-between.
I have Harris and Bech swapped and Warren up a tier. Agree there's a tier drop in that general area though. I am highly interested in another RB dart (and Fannin) pick mid-late 20something and WR soon thereafter, but want the board to help drive that decision. Milroe's value depends on format, but if he slips far enough I may gamble on him too. Not interested in any other QB.

Bloom sure hates the RB's for dynasty with Burden and Egbuka in his top 5. I usually like to see where he puts players to help me out but I have to say this isn't helping me at all.

#6 Henderson
#7 Hampton (what ?)
#9 Judkins
#15 Harvey

CBS rankings no help either. Wish these people played in my leagues sure would help me out a bunch.

#2 Ward (even in SF way too high)
#5 Hampton (not happening in my leagues)
#13 Harvey (not happening in my leagues)

Love Bloom, but had the same thoughts listening to his pre-draft dynasty rankings podcast. Seems like he hasn't moved much from that. In fairness, he was saying there was little difference between pick #4 to pick #12, so I wouldn't worry too much about the rankings.

For my 1/2 PPR league that only let's me start 3 WRs, his valuations of all these WRs ahead of the RBs after Jeanty doesn't make sense. He wasn't any more bullish on Egbuka and Burden being great than anyone else. To be fair, it was Cecil that dropped comps of Henderson = Ja Charles, Hampton = pre-injury Javonte Williams w/ better vision, KJ = DeMarco Murray. But it was Bloom that stated he might like Judkins more than any of them in a vacuum.

If you're not expecting Burden and Egbuka to be fantasy WR1s, and you actually believe in the RB comps, Jamaal Charles and Javonte Williams have no business being ranked that low.

My current top 10 in 1QB/TEP:
Jeanty
Hampton
Henderson/Hunter/Judkins/Tet
Harvey/KJohnson/Loveland
Warren

I’m sitting at 1.6 in an FFPC league with this format with the draft starting on Saturday and would love to see others top SIX in this format :)

Our league scoring makes QBs valuable. So, aside from including Ward, about 3rd or 4th tier, I agree with this.

I have 7th pick. My current top 10(subject to change by Saturday)....

Jeanty
Hampton
Tet
Hunter
Henderson
Harvey
Judkins
Loveland
Warren
K Johnson

SF - rough draft, long version

Jeanty

Hampton
Henderson
Hunter

Judkins
Egbuka
Johnson
Harvey
Tet
Ward
Burden
(this is my order for this tier for now, but I wouldn't put up much of an argument anyone switching these around)

Higgins
Loveland
Warren
Golden
(I don't like the value of anyone in this tier and this is exactly the part of the draft I'm looking to trade down in; realistically, I value everyone in the next tier higher but I won't give up value against consensus either)

Skattebo
Bech
Williams
Tuten
Dart

Taylor
Ferguson
Noel
Arroyo
Milroe

While I've heard quite a few not disappointed in depth in the second round, I love it tbh, especially mid and late 2nd round as I like those guys better than the late first/early second group currently. Third round is where I'll start reaching for some of those round 4 backs I think landed in decent spots and are an injury away from getting a chance.

Harvey vs. others is at the heart of the matter for us at 1.6/1.7, eh?
Honestly, I want to go BPA and not just grab an RB from a deep class, but this doesn’t seem like a year, beside Hunter perhaps, where a WR is clearly better than one of the RB prospects like Henderson, Judkins, Harvey, KJohnson. I’d love to be convinced otherwise.
For example, in my head, I’ve already moved Tet down to my tier 4 and perhaps AFTER all the players already listed there.

Someone set me straight. :)

Ooof. Tet scares me in the top 10-15. I'm not saying he's not talented, but the Panthers are an offensive dumpster fire. No WR had over 49 receptions last year and while I'm rooting for Bryce Young, I still don't trust him to make any WR fantasy relevent.

Every year in 1QB/TE FFPC this one particular league starts their draft on Monday(or Sunday).

Got info on 7 picks in and it went: Jeanty, Hampton, Tet, Hunter, Henderson, Judkins and Johnson.

Your list seems pretty spot on and my guess is you'll see plenty of leagues that will mix in Harvey and one of the TE's inside this goup. I would imagine that top 10 you listed will end up being the top 10 in ADP when all is said and done.

He's a prime example of one of those guys I can live with not picking and watching him hit for someone else, but not live with picking him and having him bust. I have the 1.09 in one league and will be in supreme panic mode if the top 6 RB and Egbuka/Hunter all go off in the first 8 picks. It's SF and while I don't need QB, I think I'd go Ward there just knowing how rookie QBs drafted that high retain their value over the first year, even when they play dreadfully. Even Zack Wilson only dropped from QB12 to QB15 after his first season.

Thanks Meno.

I truly hope that 2 teams above me take Hunter and Tet so I’m can focus on which RB I want (though TE a was in the mix before the draft).

Is it just me, or is there basically no 20 or 21 year olds in this draft compared to other years?
Here's a list of some players 21 and under.

Sampson
Mason Taylor
Loveland
Luther Burden
Jeanty
Judkins
Kaleb Johnson
Golden
Travis Hunter
Dart

Classes probably are getting older generally, but always gonna be young guys declaring.
I guess I stand corrected, lol.
Hmmm, Coleston Loveland is 2 years younger than Tyler Warren. I didn't realize that.

I think this is the last class to be effected by COVID extensions so that's part of it. But also now with NIL we'll probably be getting slightly older classes. I'm sure plenty of kids are going to look at guys like Shedeur and Ewers and see they could have made more playing one more year in college than they will in 4 years of the NFL. The elite players are still likely to come out early, but I bet rookie classes will start skewing much more towards 22 year olds than 20 year olds.

In TEP I’d have Loveland ahead of Harvey and Kaleb.

I think I’d have Hunter ahead of those in his tier as well.

Thanks man.

I’ve flip flopped on the exact ordering in each tier sooooo many times.
But since I’m at 1.6, a lot of the decisions will be made for me. But my tier break has shifted a little to put Tet in with Kaleb/Loveland/Harvey.
So I guess I’m saying I have a top 5 of Jeanty, Hampton, Henderson, Judkins, Hunter and then….flip a coin.

FWIW... these are the five I've landed on that I'm content to claim two of between the 1.3 & 1.5 of a 1QB non-TEP. Don't ask me who I want at the 1.3 vs 1.5, because those decisions are just dancing around in my head, Hampton/Henderson/Hunter particularly, even though I refuse not to include Judkins in that tier.

At one point, I was buying into the Harvey steam. There's definitely a world where he's the second best RB in this class, but that world is just a little too far of a reach for me if I'm drafting tomorrow. Wouldn't fault anyone for having him or KJ joining this tier, but I personally have them just a notch below. In TEP, I agree with Loveland on this same tier and also include Warren. In non-TEP, I bump the TEs down a tier. If I can start 4 WRs, I also include Egbuka and Burden on this tier.

**just realized I forgot Tet, which tells you where I have him relative to consensus and 1.8 draft capital. Ahead of Egbuka and Burden, but on the same tier for me.

Knowing what we know right this second, who's your top 5 rookie picks in both single QB and superflex?
SF, assuming also TEP
1. Jeanty - locked and loaded
2. Cam Ward - SF QB is king, and IMO Cam isn’t getting enough love.
3. Tet
4. Hampton
5. Warren

1 QB, assuming non-TEP
1. Jeanty
2. Tet
3. Hampton
4. Egbuka
5. Henderson
