No kidding, there are a quite few WR's available in the draft and they don't need to go crazy if Blackmon isn't there. If he's gone all that means if that they'll have their choice of Claiborne or Richardson.

Reports have Steve Smith taking a physical for the Rams.

This would be a fantastic signing.

I'm not a big Salas fan (Pettis too) and Smith's game isn't the same as Amendola. Amendola dubs as a return specialist, Smith is an excellent blocker. Mix those two in with a downfield threat in the draft then limit Danario to 10-15 snaps/game and you have a solid WR corps.

come on, MAC - I respect your opinion but the receiving crew is a mess. A rookie WR will take 2-3 years to develop, especially if it is a lower round selection.

If they don't get Blackmon they have the ammo to move back into round 1 to get Wright or Floyd. All 3 of them are instant starters and I'd bet will be reliable and productive by at the latest the beginning of 2013 - probably sooner.Wright would actually fit in best with Smith and Amendola as he'd serve as that field stretcher, but...I want him in Cleveland.
