Why do you wear a cup? (1 Viewer)

Being a M's fan who follows the team somewhat closely, I have heard the phrase "torn and contused testicle" far more than I ever want to again the last couple days. Ugh.

edit: The dude stayed in the game, and eventually scored the only run in the game in the bottom of 14 when Griffey hit a rope to right.

PS - We may not be that good, but Griffey walkoffs in the bottom of 14 = awesomeness

I am 8 beers in for the night so take this at facve value. How can you not wear a cup when you are playing baseball.I am a Cubs fan, so anyone beating the Sox is good by me. When it is a former Sox player that was written off as over the hill, even better.

Never did wear one(played 3B as well) until my junior year in college. Lets just say the same thing happened to me(although there was no "tear")...but I was never the same as fielder after the incident, and I'm sure Beltre will go through the same "mental" issues that I did. It sucked...hard...
