Tood Bowles is a dope, but it's John Morton's call. He loves using 3 RBs. Forte looked better than usual, but I'm with you. I have no idea why they don't use Powell more.
Everytime they use Powell as a three down back he seems to do well. Dating back to last year. I'm with you, this makes no sense.
Reminds me back of the days as a frustrated Spiller owner when they kept letting the less talented/fast Fred Jackson get all these carries and never let Spiller get into a rhythm. When they did he lit it up. Same thing here.
Forte is still a damn good RB. Not fast but still excellent vision and elusiveness. Combine that with his excellent route running/pass blocking/hands. Hard to keep guys like that off the field, especially when your team lacks pass catchers and is in the playoff hunt.
I like Powell a lot, but Forte looked like he wasn't quite done yet, and McGuire surprised me with his burst last night. Having three productive backs is a good problem for an NFL team to have. Coaches don't care about our fantasy teams.
