I can see playoff contenders like NE and NO needing a leader like this to solidify their porous secondary. He played well enough last year. Sure not as well as 2009, but it puzzles me that there has been no interest in him. Any insight?

When the Packers lost Pro-Bowl safety Nick Collins for the season there was some chatter that Sharper would be signed. It seemed like a solid fit but I'm guessing Sharper just doesn't have much left in the tank and other, younger street free-agents make more sense for teams. Maybe that will change late in the season if another playoff contender loses a safety??
