I thought it was an official game after 5 innings?

Beacuse the game would revert to the last completed inning . . . which would have made the score 1-1. Toronto took the lead in the top of the inning, but since the entire 6th inning was not played (or just the top of the inning played and the home team still ahead), there would have been no winner.

Ohhhhhhh, I didn't look at the box score......just the score.There goes a solid effort from Burnett..........I have no faith in the TOR pen.

I bet on blue jays, but was called no action. Is this standard procedure? It's not like the game was delayed that long.

Yes. On all books I'm with, any suspended game is no action. If it's called after 4.5 innings, it's usually good, but not when suspended and completed later.
