Why no Love for Darcel McBath, I don't even see him on the Forcast (1 Viewer)

I'm at the tail end of 47 man / 12 team IDP draft and what I usually like to do is comb thought the rookie list and see who hasn't been drafted.

I usually Start by where they were Drafted in the NFL Draft and then I search the list, this works like a charm for 3rd round LBs; but I what did find was the 3rd Saftey Taken in the NFL Draft was still floating around. I checked my 16 Team / 46 man roster league that just finished a 5 round Rookie draft and sure enough, McBath wasn't drafted in that league.

Then I Check the Export Rankings for Rookie IDPs and the Kid wasn't even Ranked by FBG.

So what gives... is the 2.16 in the 2009 NFL drafted that bad, or his he in that bad of a spot? What gives?

I think it depends on who you think is more likely to play in the box in future years -- McBath or David Bruton. There's an argument for both, but I read McBath's cover skills as better than Bruton's. In our default scoring system, a FS has to prove that he can be an elite two-way player to have much value. For now, though I wouldn't say McBath is a bad flier late in rookie drafts, I'd rather have Michael Hamlin, Kevin Ellison or Bruton.

And there was one team trying to trade up into the early 7th to get McBath.
