Will Daunte Culpepper be back this season? (1 Viewer)

What are your thoughts/analysis on this situation? It all depends on Daunte's knee. Any chance he's done for the season, or will he be back?

doesn't matter either way, C-pepp can't play without Moss..he proveds that last year BEFORE he got hurt..he's a bust now..

Tough one. Harrington even though they lost played well and got his passing game moving. McMichael came alive and that will open the door for the running lanes. That said, I think we see Dante back next week and if he does anything positive will remain the starter. That said, he is on a short leash.

If I were a Dante owner I would look for a replacement (if you have not done so already) before a real benching when a team can rape you.

Whichever one starts next week will take the job and run with it for a few weeks (at least). They play the Jets and that defense is looking terrible.

My take here is that Saban has finally seen what we all knew: the mobility is not there. These things take 2 years to come back from, and daunte is playing tentatively. I see joey possibly getting the ball next week and then I belive we have our bye. Joey is *gasp* the better decision maker right now. As always happens with us vs. NE we get a bad break int (off welkers hands), a phantom PI call, and a NE TD to put the game out of reach. SIGH
