Will LT Sit Come Playoff Time? (1 Viewer)

this is something all LT owners are faced with right now. you have the best player in fantasy football on your team, and of course if you have him your in the playoffs. question is, will the chargers sit him week 17 and/or week 16 to rest him for the playoffs?? I suppose a lot of it has to do with what happens in week 15 asnd what the standings in the AFC look then, but what do you see happening?

I think a lot of that hinges on Turners health. A lot has been made about Tomlinson playing at the end of games recently but imo the big reason for that is because Turner has been hurt. It's a hamstring and SD will most likely be cautious with it as long as Tomlinson is healthy. There's a BIG step down between SD's #2 RB and their #3 RB so as long as SD doesn't have the "home-field-advantage-through-the-playoffs" locked up they won't shift the team into idle like IND did last year.... at least I hope they won't.

Do a search for "Tomlinson" and "sit" and "no, not unless the Chargers have already clinched the #1 seed, which they won't" and you should find it.

I agree. They want homefield advantage and will play all out until they have it. It's far from locked up at this point with BAL having the tiebreaker over the Chargers should they finish the same record.

They'll have the first week of the playoffs to rest. If Turner is healthy then I do see him getting more carries but right now he isn't yet.
