Comings and goingsPage 2 of 4The only known about this position is that A.J. Feeley will be back, as either a No. 2 or a No. 3. RUNNING BACKS -- Brian Westbrook, who showed his ability to be a star this past season, might be the only player returning at this position. Advertisement Correll Buckhalter and Reno Mahe are free agents and Ryan Moats just does not fit this system. Once upon a time the Denver Broncos were interested in Moats; if they still are, get what you can. Trading or releasing Moats would not hurt the salary cap, either; it would actually gain them about $80,000 of room. The Eagles need a big back to compliment Westbrook and this space reported weeks ago that Reid likes Rutgers fullback Brian Leonard, a 235-pounder with great hands. It might take a second-round pick to land him, however. Fullback Thomas Tapeh showed he can be a decent blocker, but you don't want the ball in his hands, especially on 3rd-and-short in a playoff game. WIDE RECEIVERS -- Stallworth is the key here. If he's re-signed the position is set. He and Reggie Brown are the starters and Hank Baskett, Jason Avant and Greg Lewis are the backups. No need to address the situation. If Stallworth leaves, the team will try to sell you on Baskett and Avant stepping up in their second year. Yes, both players should get better. But neither is the burner Stallworth is. That speed would be missed in a big way. In a market devoid of big-time receivers, Stallworth could attract a lot of attention. He could return to Tennessee, where he played his college ball. The Titans have wide receiver on the top of their wish list and over $40 million to spend. TIGHT ENDS -- It looks like L.J. Smith will go into the final year of his contract, which could be a good thing. Players often perform very well in the final year of a deal. Matt Schobel, last year's free agent signing, played a lot better at the end of the season than he did at the beginning of the season, so he likely returns.
