Of those 5 playoff wins, how many did he play well in? How many did the team win "in spite" of him? I count 2, easily (super bowl and the win vs. the jets 2 years ago).

And he sure did look crappy getting destroyed by the Pats in the Championship game.

So your 5 win Ben should be 3-3 if you go by just his performance.

Roethlisberger has still only been in the league for two years! You are going to knock him down for not playing well in every playoff game when he is still so young? That is foolish. Like has been said, Roethlisberger stuggled big time in the Super Bowl, but he was magnificent in the wins over Indy and Denver. Without him, they do not win either of those games, plain and simple.

Looking at my username, I take things far from serious. Where did I say I was offended? Youre not offending me at all. Youre just making yourself look like a tool. 2006 will be the season Roethlisberger emerges as an undisputed top 5 QB, and he'll lead them to a winning season. I don't think they've got quite enough to repeat though.

and no... I'm not saying Roethlisberger will throw for over 3,500 yards and 30 TD's. But you don't need to do that to be an elite QB. I see him having around 3,300 yards, 25 TD's, and 65% completion.
