The Eagles, Browns, and 49ers look to be potential candidates.

SFO Jeff Garcia 2000 4278

CLE Brian Sipe 1980 4132

NYJ Joe Namath 1967 4007

PHI Donovan McNabb 2008 3916

CHI Erik Kramer 1995 3838

Rather low totals for Mayfield, Wentz & Trubisky to eclipse with the modern day, pass happy offense and neutered defense. I doubt Darnold takes that big a jump in year 2 but adding Bell and Crowder is a huge improvement on paper. Jimmy G probably needs more help to get there... unless he throws 4500 yards primarily to RB/TE.

If I were to put $$ on anyone it's the bears.

Bears finished with 3757 with two games from Chase Daniel.

Agree that the most likely options are what people are saying.

Which record do you all think is the safest? I'd say Baltimore.

A brief interjection to note that of the top 11 team yardage records, ten were established this decade (as would reasonably be expected).

The eleventh, Marino, set his mark ... thirty-five years ago. In a season in which the average non-Dolphins team threw for 3,230 yards. Using 2018 team stats, that would be the modern-day equivalent of a 6,000-yard season.

Dan Marino was pretty ####### good at football.
