Wireless headphones and tv (1 Viewer)

Looking for a set of headphones I can use for running on the treadmill while I'm watching tv. I don't have a smart tv and I'm not streaming from a Bluetooth enabled device - I just want to watch my TV and listen in my headphones. Anything like that out there?

Depends on what kind of sound output your TV has. If it has a standard stereo output, then you can get something like this that makes it BT enabled:

Output jack
Yes I think that's exactly what I'm looking for. How do I pair the devices though? Seems like I need something with a user interface of some kind

Simple one button operation: press and hold the button for 8 seconds and the Mini-jack TX will automatically search for a compatible device; no codes or passwords to enter. The 90° swiveling jack allows for easy storage, portability and hard-to-reach connections. The Mini-jack TX supports “one on one” pairing which means that it can stream to one device at a time.
you might just have to push a button on both the transmitter and your headset.

ETA: I was looking into something similar, although not for a BT headset; just something to simulate a cable across the room, so I could use a regular set of headphones.

Nah, it's easy to pair and it will have instructions. Typically, the device will go into discovery mode and any BT headphones you have will be able to find it and pair. It's really not difficult and only requires having the manual for both devices (can be found online if you don't have them).
