The Top 300 Greatest TV Shows of All Time: FBG Consensus: 50 Lists received. 2: Seinfeld 1: Breaking Bad (3 Viewers)

I go wherever the content is but when there's a choice, I'll pick Tubi over the other free with ads sites.

I don't have any data but I think Tubi shows slightly fewer ads than Pluto or Plex. Tubi is also a little better about where it places the ads. I've had Plex throw an ad break right in the middle of a song. I haven't watched enough of Roku or the rebranded Amazon Freevee to say how they compare.

They're not ideal but the commercials aren't a deal breaker for me. My body clock is synced to those 2:30 breaks. I can unload the dishwasher during two of them.

I haven't looked through their TV offerings, but I have always been surprised at how many movies I've found on there. I think the FFA's demographic will find a lot of fun 70s and 80s movies on there. A ton of horror movies for October too.

I use Tubo a lot
when I am sick of searching for something on Netflix or prime, I just go to the leaving soon category and select the 1st or 2nd movie that catches my interest that have never seen before
Watching some stupid Nic Cage movie right now on it , Jiu Jitsu

If you have Verizon, you have some discount options that we thought was a pretty good deal. We get Netflix, Max, Hulu, Disney and espn plus for $20 per month.

Wow. Need to check that out
Verizon has several different packages that you can add on for $10/month - YouTube Premium and Apple music in addition to Netflix/Max and Hulu/Disney/ESPN+ bundles.
Just an FYI. Spectrum comes with Paramount and Max streaming for free.

Just glanced at Tubi catalog. Got a decent amount of stuff to watch. Spartacus. Mr. Robot. Handful of movies. It's free. Thanks for bringing this to me. Never even heard of it.
Pluto is another one that has a lot of content and is free.
Freevee another one. Just watched there a compilation of old car ads from the 50's and 60's that was nicely edited.

A Lost that stuck the landing. Damon Lindelof learned from his mistakes and gave us one of the most compelling and fascinating TV shows ever made. The first season was great despite too much focus on the cult whose members don’t speak (which doesn’t make for the most riveting television), and the second and third, mostly freed from relying on them, are some of the greatest seasons I’ve ever seen of any show.
I just started watching based on the ranking here. I am about 6 or 7 episodes in. It's captivating at times mostly because you want to know what the hell is going on. Why people are doing certain things and what it means. I can see where the cult aspect drags on and I am glad to hear that it gets better with less centered around them although I do want to know what the hell is going on with them.

Using this thread to recommend Dark City: The Cleaner on Prime. I was just looking for something late yesterday, and gave it a shot. Can't stop watching. It goes into the mind of a serial killer who is a janitor at the police station. Little bit of a Dexter thing but much different. It doesn't take itself too seriously. The episodes fly by at 45 minutes. The end of episode 1 set the hook.

Just finished The Leftovers. It was ok. I wouldn't go so far as to say great. I am not sure if it would make my top 70 but probably pretty close. I am not sure I agree that the ending was "stuck". It seemed to go all over the place at times and I didn't really think much was tied up. Still not sure if Kevin was crazy or the second coming. It could go either way. Nora was by far my favorite character because of her attitude and approach.

I am not a big symbolism guy so I probably missed a ton of that throughout the show so maybe that is why it was just solid instead of great. The story was compelling and I wanted to see what/why things happened but I was left wanting in the end. It didn't really tie up much for me other than
apparently there was a second dimension where the departed went to and continued their parallel life in a much less crowded world. Overall it was worth a watch but it wasn't that great for me.
