Women's March on Washington (1 Viewer)

How's that popular vote working out?
I mentioned it for two reasons:

1) while the gap in votes may be a measure of popularity, it wasn't enough of a detriment to keep him out of office.  So whatever detriment Higgs is claiming wasn't all that meaningful, especially since Trump has spoken in favor of all sides of the issue, depending on the time and the audience.

2) I knew it would trigger a Pavlovian response from some of the Trump supporters, highlighting even further how far they missed the point of my post.  And look at them!  I could have put on an Admiral Ackbar mask and yelled "IT'S A TRAP!" and not been more obvious it was a setup. But they can't help themselves.

I have been walking around the city the last two days.  Feet hurt and I have a headache. I'm convinced if these fugly women could find a man, they would be a lot less angry.  America is in need of guys who will jump on any and all grenades.

Yes the brain dead cretin ugly woman shave your hippy pits find a man argument.

At least 40% of the women I saw today were smoking hot. I'm pretty sure they don't need a backwoods mouth breather such as yourself to complete them.

Whatever you say, Cruiser.

Clearly you weren't there then, goodbye loser

Nothing says smoking hot like being pale, overweight, big jackets, and having a red runny nose from the cold.  This isn't a pool party in Vegas.  There aren't 40% of smoking hot women anywhere in DC.

I was in Florida. How the #### would I know where you live.

My friend flew up to D.C. however and there were plenty of attractive women in the pics he posted. More than plenty.

My girlfriend participated in the march in Los Angeles. We live downtown and she wore her pink jacket out, then got stuck in the march on the way to get her eyebrows threaded.

I find it really odd that so much of the discussion yesterday was around how hot Melania and Ivanka looked, whether Trump would nail Melania last night, etc.

Now this amazing event where millions of people come together in a show of strength and solidarity and you're judging it based on how hot the women were? Pretty juvenile.

My wife and sister were.  And the lady across the street.  All three are attractive. Pretty mean thing to say, honestly.
I'm not trying to be mean but reflecting back on today it's how I feel.  Today's society have a put significant pressure on people wanting to look and feel a certain way.  I'm saying that the most passionate people there today were unattractive as a whole.  Are they upset at who is President or upset with how they look and their life turned out?  Seems like an excuse to vent, that's all.

I've always felt the same way when I see pictures from tea party rallies.  Maybe if all these old white dudes could see their tiny ##### without a mirror and something to lift up their giant guts, then they would be a lot less angry too.

Yes, 2.5M people marched today because they're fat and homely. Fortunately we got handsome and sightly internet message board superhunks such as yourself to crank one out on them every so often to keep them happy and calm. Otherwise we'd be having marches every other day!

I cant believe some of you people are real.

You may not be trying to be mean, but that's what you are being in addition to dismissive and disrespectful. Do you think the Million Man March was all studs and Adonises?  Do you think people who marched for Civil Rights were outraged over their looks and not that black people were treated like crap?  Why on earth would you even consider saying something so ludicrous about the people who marched today?

Ok but I just want to make sure you know nothing was accomplished today. You realize that, yes?

99.9% of the marchers today despised Trump before and on November 9th. I understand the alt radical left is absolutely desperate for any little win you can get, but the crowd sizes this weekend are meaningless.
Well we'll see. American history tends to differ with you. Large crowds that protest can often lead to political change. It's happened over and over again. The most recent examples being the Tea Party and the Occupy Wall Street movements. The former led to immediate change while the latter may actually have a greater long term impact (that remains to be seen).

This is how women think and act in dchuler's 1850s mind. A play, in one act:

girl 1: Geez I'm feeling really fat and ugly today

2: pass the bon bons

3: omg I'm on my period thingy IM SO ANGRY

1: I know what will make us feel better today because I am fat and ugly and my life sucks.

2: having sex with an internet message board commenter?

1:  No. Well yes. But no. WALKING

2: uh uh girl I don't walk. [eats bon bon]

3. WHY IS THERE SO MUCH BLOOD I AM SO ANGRY I NEED MAN NOW

1: we're gonna walk today to take back our fat girl rights and then we will have sex with a suave internet message board trump supporting poster afterwards so I can finally feel good about myself for once.

/dschuler barges in

FINALLY A MAN IS HERE FOR YOU FAT BROADS

I found this to be part of 40% of what I like anywhere on the Innernetz

Political change?  We just got our political change. It literally just started. The protests are out of fear of it. They had their way for 8 years and cannot stand that the other side is going to get its turn now. It reeks of immaturity and petulance and it's not at all surprising of the alt radical left.

This exact quote could have been made in reaction to the Tea Party movement in early 2009. Probably was.

Per the Daily Mail, the Secret Service is going to investigate Madonna because she said she thought about blowing up the White House.

Speaking of petulance and immaturity, can you explain to me how your side accepts the fact that Trump's press secretary just lied to us all about the number of people at the innaguration?  Who does that?  Why do they feel a need to lie about something so stupid and obvious to everybody?  This is Iraq press secretary level bad and we all laughed at that.  Do you have any answer for this?  It's so stupid.

Yeah, she shouldn't have said that.   I like the f-bombs and the suck a #### but violent threats are unamerican
Not only that, but it also completely undermines the peaceful protests, takes away from how there was no violence and gives all the Facebook idiots something to point to. Incredibly dumb.

23-page Cliff's notes?

I was originally booked to march in DC today but had to cancel; ended up doing the Seattle march instead.

I was worried about going because I didn't want to be in the midst of a bunch of anger - I might feel some anger but didn't want to dwell on that.  What I found instead was the most positive, uplifting experience I could have imagined.  Beautiful, beautiful day.

Agree it's idiotic. I have no idea why they care or why anyone cares about this topic.

Cliffs...

Most of us thought it was awesome.

The usual gang of idiots scoffed and criticized and said things like "Trump won, get over it".

A reply of mine in another thread, but worth noting here:

If your fallback is calling out protesters for being on the wrong half of the offdee scale and saying they need dicking, maybe you are part of the reason we need these protests in ####### 2017.

Maybe nothing was accomplished today, but every movement starts with the first step.

Seems it's the largest turnout for this march ever. Being this record is on Trump's watch, I doubt nothing was accomplished. I think we'll be seeing more than just the scheduled traditional marches we see every year.

The Dems ignored the grass roots fear that fostered the fervor of the tea party and those who felt abandoned by today's establishment.

Let this be a lesson to you Mr. Trump. And the Republican Party. Abdicate your (stated) commitment to connect to real Americans and suffer the same fate as the party which talked that talk before... and was summarily walked off the plank.

Oh something was accomplished... Quite a large number of heifers got some much needed exercise.... 1....2....3
