Women's March on Washington (2 Viewers)

LOL at the girl with her mom on CNN right now talking about being there. I guarantee you her and her friends marched like zombies while glued onto their smart phones texting each other.
B-B-B-B UT MADONNA CURSED!!! A LOT!!!! AND HIP HOP GUYS WERE THERE!!!! AND KATY PERRY!!! AND ##### HATS!!! I'M NOT IN KANSAS ANYMORE!

Has to be one of the dumber arguments this board has ever seen.  well done.

100k protest an American election in London. But meanwhile in Saudi Arabia a woman is gang raped and gets 200 lashes & 6 months for her trouble. Another is stoned to death for adultery.

Gee I guess it's one of the dumbest arguments this board has ever seen.

When are you holding your protest?

I don't see anything. I'm better off than ever before. Things here are going great other than the way we treat criminals like humans. That needs to stop. We also need to ramp up the execution of losers. Other than that, we are kicking ###.
Yes, that pesky due process clause of the Constitution always seems to get in the way, doesn't it?

Radical Islam, radical Christianity, radical Judaism and many other religious extremists treat women poorly in a variety of ways. Condemning misogyny and abuse in all its forms is a condemnation of all of that without wrongfully grouping the good, peaceful practitioners that comprise every religion around the globe in with the negativity.

Also, it's not someone else's job to tailored their protests to your desired message.  If an issue means that much to you, get organizing and hit the streets yourself.

Finally, calling everyone who doesn't see the world exactly as you do "brainless" does nothing for anyone.
How on earth can you draw any type of equivalence between Islam, Judaism and Christianity as far as abuses against women today?

hey, respect that red/white/blue Hijab, you fascist #####

Held it November 8th, 2016
Wait, you voted for Trump because of the way women are treated in Saudi Arabia? Don't recall women's issues being a concern of yours prior to the election, particularly after you were repeatedly asked how you felt about Trump barging in the dressing room of 15 year girls in the Miss Teen USA contest, who were in various stages of undressing (which you refused to answer)

Comical that the guy liking this post said America was spiraling down the drain earlier today.  Can't make this stuff up, folks.

That really turned Saudi Arabia around, didn't it?
:whoosh:

For HellToupee. You guys clearly didn't get what he was talking about. I'll explain. It had nothing to do with SA. It had to do with ousting Hillary and the same old group of ####bags and putting an outsider in the WH.

Which is why he keeps bringing it up. That makes sense.

MSNBC calling the litter left behind at DC a 'symbol'. Um, no they left their litter behind. They are going home and just left their trash in DC.

Now we have to pay some gov't workers OT to pick up all those useless signs they left behind.

A "strong" woman like most of these speakers proclaimed themselves to be would not have to depend on the state to pay for their birth control.  And talk about a non-problem problem, have you priced birth control lately?  For the most part, it's pretty cheap.
They are concerned for the women who cannot afford birth control, even if it is cheap to you. It's okay to be concerned for those who struggle financially and need access to birth control through Planned Parenthood, right?  It's okay to march for others, yes?

I didn't.  I explained that protesting misogyny can incorporate all of them.

And in any event, not every protest is about finding the #1 issue to the exclusion of all others; otherwise every protest would be about genocide to the exclusion of anything else.  It can be about what is the most effective, or what helps people feel better about their community in troubled times.

Bottom line is that those people- including many members of my family, good friends, and FFA posters, by the way- were out there trying to make the world a better place.  And you insulted them and said nobody with a brain would take them seriously.

Meanwhile what have you done about Islam's treatment of women?  Other than sit in front of a computer and insult my family, friends and fellow posters for not doing enough about it to satisfy you, of course.

ETA: sorry, I forgot about what you did do. You helped elect a sexist isolationist who wants to turn away those female victims of abuse and mistreatment about whom you profess to be so concerned at the border.  Good work

Apparently not.  Just like Colin Kampervan didn't have a point because he's rich.

No. The Tea Party picked up its mess.

Remind me again what Republicans have done in Saudi Arabia to assist the rights of women or any Republican action. In that country.  I'll hang up and listen.

Before Trump yes. Today, nope. You seem to have learned from the false news reporters by posting some false news your self. Nice one.
Wait, what?  Trump has been on the job one day and the country has gone from "spiraling down a drain" to "everything is awesome except we need more executions" in 24 hours??? :lmao:

I would be careful about Amish, Chaffee, and Paul, however.

It's a problem for both sides of the aisle. Doesn't make it right . I just through out the absurdity of London protesters

How absurd that there were protesters in London for an American election
Perhaps this might help explain their motives to you:

Women's March: 100,000 protest in London against Donald Trump

‘We’re worried about what Trump’s election says about the state of the world,’ say protesters

[...]

The marches welcome protesters of all genders and say their mission statement is to take a stand against growing right-wing political sentiment in all its forms, including homophobia, transphobia, anti-Muslim bigotry, misogyny, class prejudice and racism.

Throngs of demonstrators at the London event marched from Grosvenor Square in Mayfair, past the US embassy and onto Trafalgar Square. Many bore placards highlighting Mr Trump’s misogynistic comments, allegations of racism or his refutation of climate change.

If you were alive in the 60s when blacks were protesting civil rights and being able to eat at the same restaurant you eat at, would you have mocked them for not protesting civil rights violations in North Korea?

Then they should start up a voluntary association to pay for birth control for women.  It's not a legitimate function of government to do it.

I'm disappointed in myself because I really thought you were better than this.

Please update us when the hold their march against Saudi Arabia

I disagree. There's an unmistakable cognitive dissonance in popular liberal-leaning group think where human rights violations in the Middle East are essentially dismissed for the sake of not being islamaphobic. It's not unlike protectioneers who want bring jobs back to America, no matter their utter dependence on cheap #### made elsewhere.

I can now barge into a bathroom with 15 girls in there & not get arrested.    Progress.

No, he would probably  have chastised them for not protesting apartheid in South Africa, telling them it was much worse than segregation in the South.
