Dodds had Portis down around the 23rd ranked RB I believe just after his shoulder injury. He has risen to a respectable RB 13. Carson Palmer is QB 9. I have a feeling after Palmer's 3 TD outing tonight......Palmer will be in the Dodds's top 3 by tomorrow.

With the marvels of modern science, I'm much more optimistic about players recovering from injuries than I was 5 years ago. I was a little bit like Dodds in the past and automatically marked a guy way down due to injury & speculation....but recoveries of Big Ben, Palmer, Culpepper, J.Walker, etc....have me singing a different tune.

Where is Palmer on your redraft board now?

I'd have to agree since I had Palmer last year. Right after P.Manning. Caveat emptor, however. He's ende d the last two year's with injuries.

Other than Manning, I can't see ranking any QB ahead of Palmer. He took off an ran 11yds and slid in his 1st game back. That was pretty impressive. His WR's are every bit as good as Manning's (if you take in consideration the Stokely injury and the emergence of Henry). His running game is better. Manning is obviously less of an injury risk which still keeps him at #1. If you can get Palmer at 2-3 rounds or more after Manning, that could be pretty good value.
