Worst projections ever (1 Viewer)

Tony Holm's fantasysharks.com

Currently has Maurice Jones-Drew as a recommended starter for my team and has him and Vick each getting six points.

This site is terrible. I click on it for the laughter because it is linked through MFL when you go to set your lineup.

Are the rest of your Rbs named Mcfadden, Best, and FJAX? If so, then its not so bad...LOL.

I am luke-warm on that site. I see some things of interest every once in a while but I don't understand their weekly reasoning on rankings at all most of the time.

They actually finished dead last at Fantasy Pros last year too IIRC.

It's amazing that a great software site like MFL uses these clowns. Really wish FBGs would tie in with MFL and have league specific projections available on the team page.

Unless MFL were paying FBG, that won't happen. There is a reason MFL uses free projections. That said, there ARE better out there. As to the OP, and I understand your point, don't mock or bring too much attention to the projections. There are still plenty of fantasy players out there that utilize those projections to set their lineups.

:goodposting: Nowadays, it aint lack of info - it's knowing which to use and which to avoid. Seperate the wheat from the chaffe. But don't tell others which is which.

Been my biggest gripe with MFL for a while. FS projections are terrible. They seem to pretty much rely on the previous week's stats without taking much else into consideration.

They are a joke. The fantasy previews on MFL use their projected points and at the moment I have 2 players OUT in my lineup (I made it out Oct. 31) that they are projecting points for. And those 2 players have been out for awhile.

CBS Sportsline is our web site for FF. We're just too lazy to move to another site.

Those guys suck this year:

52 Nathan Zegura

54 Dave Richard

57 Jamey Eisenberg

Ranked out of 88 total.

They also seem to think that every player will score at least one td every week.

It does have bizarre sort of old-school charm, like I picture the FS guys drafting all their projections with notepad and pencil and newspapers, in a wood-paneled basement reeking of cigarette smoke.

"Charm" may be a little strong, but you know what I mean.
