Lest anyone think that I'm whining, you will note that one of my 4 teams had a GREAT fantasy year so far, and I'm a solid favorite to win the championship (knock on wood).
I also believe a moderate amount of injuries are good for fantasy football, because the better owners can navigate around bye weeks and a few injuries more successfully than poorer owners usually can. In fact, the season I remember most fondly is the one where I drafted Tom Brady on the 1st/2nd round turn and won my league in spite of his early injury.
I have never experienced a season even close to this, and these are just the fantasy relevant guys that I can think of off the top of my head - feel free to add any I missed.

I'm sure that this is not a comprehensive list by any means. Is there anywhere to get some historical history to put this into perspective?
Here is an example of the impact injuries had on two of my four teams (as well as my competition).
Team 1, a redraft league: Team 1 is 10 - 3, has earned a play-off bye and also outscored the next highest scoring team by something like 10 FPTs per week. And that was not without a few bumps in the road, having to overcome the loss of Amendola to season ending IR as well as S Moss for about 6 weeks. In addition, Julio Jones and Denarius Moore had multiple week injuries. I traded Cutler well before his season ending injury, although I got Felix Jones who had a subsequent multiple week injury and then lost his starting job - I ultimately dropped him on the waiver wire). Luckily I was able to trade Best before the extent of his injury became evident, and traded ADP before his two week injury, so I dodged some major injury bullets. Ultimately, four timely and significant trades plus a super waiver wire pick-up, Cam Newton, made my season while some other very good owners caught the brunt of the injury bug.
On the other extreme, Team 2, A deep (keep 10) keeper is 6 - 7 and could not overcome the loss of six of my original players to season ending injuries, as well as three other originally rostered players plus two more waiver pick-ups that had multiple week injuries.
After my keepers, my 1st two draft choices were Mikel Leshoure, and Ryan Williams. Both went on season ending IR before the season even started. Other players who started the season for this team but had season ending injuries were Schaub, Cutler, Best and S Rice. In addition, three other players who started the season for Team 2 but had multiple week injuries were Julio Jones, Emmanuel Sanders and Jacoby Ford. Then we add D Alexander and D Moore, the two waiver wire pick-ups who had multiple week injuries, and perhaps a 6 - 7 season should be viewed as an accomplishment. My other two teams had a similar injury track.
Here's the point: Since I haven't deeply analyzed my over-all season yet, I'm not sure what I could have done to change the results all that much. With team 1, I frankly was very lucky. But the sheer number of injuries to some key players on my other teams meant that multiple play-off teams were just not in the cards this year.
I suspect that quite a few of us are in the same boat and feel that this season was an outlier as impact of injuries on our teams. So if you have a team like my team 1, congratulations - but realize like I do that probably the fantasy gods were very kind to you. On the other hand, if this extraordinary rash of injuries caused you to miss the play-offs, then learn what you can from it and realize there is no shame in not making the dance this year.
I'm sure both the play-off bound and those who saw their season come to a disappointing end have similar stories. There is always next year.
I'd like to hear other fantasy players opinion on this.
