Vikings WR Justin Jefferson, who was just down on the field for an extended period, took multiple shots of pickle juice and walked off the field. A strong sign it was just cramps for the star receiver.

Justin Jefferson has now been targeted a league-high 7 times on passes that were intercepted (5 from JJ McCarthy, 2 from Carson Wentz)
Nobody else has more than 5.
Forced passes. The other team know it’s coming. I guess JJ needs to work on his PSA breakup skills.Ian Hartitz

Justin Jefferson has produced with:
- Kirk Cousins
- Nick Mullens
- Joshua Dobbs
- Sam Darnold
- Carson Wentz
Do you know bad JJ McCarthy has to be to make the best receiver in football look regular?
Got no choice but to keep putting him out there in one of my dynasty teams. Start 2 WR ( Rice and Lamb ) and 3 flex. Just don’t have the options due to injury and poor form. Same with Lamar in that team.
^ thisLast week was so bad that I'm actually considering JJ McCarthy being back a good thing. And he's been awful for JJ.

Justin Jefferson was pacing for 1,622 yards with Carson Wentz. His 13.7 fantasy points per game would be 9th among WRs.
Without Wentz, he’s pacing for 831 yards. His 8.6 fantasy points per game would rank 44th.

I'm debating this now. No room for error, but I have guys like Boutte and Sutton who feel like better plays right now.How can I start this guy in 1st week of playoffs?
Never thought in million years I'd bench him,but might have too with almost anyone else.
If Jefferson can't get more than 7 -9 targets and a 6/70/1 type game,I'll be more than shocked.
Is McCarthy that scared to throw into coverage. I don't get why he doesn't look to Jefferson more.
Don't you want the ball in teams best players hands n let him make things happen.
Jefferson has the best playoff schedule for a wr anyone cld ask for.
Hope McCarthy FINALLY starts looking at Jefferson! Stop being so damn scared to turn dang ball over.
A back up can put up big numbers against Dallas. Let's freaking go McCarthy, get your head out of you no where and throw Jefferson the damn ball!!

He will be on my bench this week for Jamo again

First off - 3 first rounders for a WR is a franchise killer. Not that these guys grow on trees, but there are plenty of WRs that do what JJ does. Pickens might be a free agent. If I'm Bills GM Brandon Beane, I am offering three 1st round picks for Jefferson this offseason.
Win-win trade for both teams. Vikings need to do right by their superstar WR. Trade him to a place where he can actually utilize his talent.

Secondly, why would the Vikings be interested in "doing right by their superstar" by sending him away? They've already paid him.

You're forgetting one important factor: Not all 1st round picks are created equal. The Bills 3 1st round picks would be Picks 26-32. You're essentially getting 3 2nd-round talents.

Picks could be increasingly better though. Bills are probably a wildcard team going forward. Josh got married... turning 30... all it takes is one hit and they're picking in the top 10 again (at least for 1 year).
It's a gamble I would take if I were MIN. Look what just happened to IND... 2 first round pics for a CB... he's out, and now they have no future at QB. Back to square 1. Picks are gone.
The Colts were dumb because they were never 1 (overrated) CB away from a Super Bowl.
But you add Justin Jefferson to the 2026 Bills and beyond....and they are Super Bowl favorites for the next 5 years. 3 late Round 1 picks is worth the price to become Super Bowl favorites over a 5 year window.
