Wow this guy has destroyed his chances, I should of know better, troubled players normally remain that way.
Where is Gordon now?hmmYou are so right. Definetly wasn't worth it to draft Moss after he resurfaced in New England, or Bell after his drug bust. In fact, picking up Gordon after his 4 game suspension when he went on to lead the league in receiving in 12 games wasn't worth it at all.
JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice.
Source: Ed Bouchette on Twitter
That doesn't mean he's clear. Part of the protocol is he is required to practice in full then they will evaluate him against his baselines. He could still be held out Sunday.Full participant in Wednesday’s practice.
Diggs is pretty good in the slot, like top 5 slot CB good. The two guys who split time opposite Slay are ranked CB95 (Lawson) and CB100 (Hayden.) So whomever gets the outside starting gig opposite AB is about that have the game of his life.
No, he isn't. He'll be deactivated this week and will be back on the field next week. They are not going to give him away. But feel free to die on this hill.If a team offers a stick of chewing gum, he’s gone.
Hes not throwing himself the ball.Good, exactly what this clown deserves. Go to the scout team and bi@@@ there. Don't give this pot head what he wants, don't trade him. Just like today's whiny society, don't get your way & cry like a baby, when in fact you are the cause of ALL the problems. Let him rot on the scout team, ungreatful jerk.
People taking things way too personal and pretty making their own narratives. This thread is reminding me why I almost never post in the SP outside of the Steelers thread anymore.
He actually won't be on the field next week. But to be fair, none of the other Steelers will be either. ?Evilgrin 72 said:No, he isn't. He'll be deactivated this week and will be back on the field next week. They are not going to give him away. But feel free to die on this hill.
That's kind of interesting. It looks like MB & Ben were connecting, then suddenly just weren't.
Moss as far as I recalled, never served a drugs suspension, so......what?You are so right. Definetly wasn't worth it to draft Moss after he resurfaced in New England, or Bell after his drug bust. In fact, picking up Gordon after his 4 game suspension when he went on to lead the league in receiving in 12 games wasn't worth it at all.
The only reason for the Steelers to trade Bryant now would be if they wanted to remove the distraction element. If a team offers a stick of chewing gum, he’s gone.
I never said he deserved more playing time. You've brought a great deal of negativity to numerous threads. If this situation upsets you so much, maybe you should find a new hobby. Why not be upset with the domestic violence and rape culture involved in sports.Sorry you feel that way. Anyone in any normal work setting who complain and became a disturbance the way that he has at work would get demoted or fired as well so I believe he is getting what he deserves I just don’t like the direction that sports are going in. The way that this fool is acting is unheard of. He’s been suspended more than he’s been on the field and when he’s on the field he dropped passes at a higher rate. Yet you somehow feels entitled that he should get more playing time then a very productive and team first rookie. Again sorry you feel that way. I have a great rapport with many long standing members here in the shark pool and rarely if ever have a problem with anyone. Sorry for the hijack.
Says the guy who hasn't commented in here at all the last while, but comes in here to tell someone how awful of a person he must be.I never said he deserved more playing time. Is that where he hangs out and posts mostly? I checked out the free for all a few years back out of sheer morbid curiousity. You wanna talk about negativity? Holy shnikees. People in that forum literally tear each other to shreds. No holds barred. Never went back since.Says the guy who hasn't commented in here at all the last while, but comes in here to tell someone how awful of a person he must be.All he ever does is offer negativity to every thread he goes in.

Yeah it's such a pack mentality, where the nuts run the nuthouse, but they think they're the evolved/educated crowd. You say one thing that might remotely disagree with them and you're gained up on for days. Not worth going in there ever.Is that where he hangs out and posts mostly? I actually try to keep it positive and upbeat generally and try to be a productive member in the sp though so I’m taking his words to heart and maybe I have been slightly negative. Who knows. I can accept some constructive criticism.
He's either going to get the signal that PIT isn't putting up with this, he's signed through 2018 so suck it up buttercup; or he's going to completely self destruct and ruin whatever's left of his career.I just picked him up in one league where I had been trying to trade for him all season. He's my 7th receiver and I can't help but think that he'll eventually become a bigger part of the offense. He needs to get his head on right and start doing the little things it takes to become successful.
Man I miss the FFA. What a place.I checked out the free for all a few years back out of sheer morbid curiousity. You wanna talk about negativity? Holy shnikees. People in that forum literally tear each other to shreds. No holds barred. Never went back since.
He was legitimately my WR6 and I cut him. I guess that's the cutoff.WR7 I can see taking a chance on him. If my rosters went that deep I'd take a flier for sure.
Bell & Gordon are examples of guys coming off of suspensions that literally won leagues that year.Moss as far as I recalled, never served a drugs suspension, so......what?
Bell is a fine example of one that worked out.
Gordon is a great example of one that owners have wasted years on.
I really hope you're not a litigation attorney.
He sees the writing on the wall... team drafts a rookie fairly high and that rookie is out playing him. He feels threatened. He thought he'd come in this year and play well, maybe get a new contract next year or strike it big after 2018. If he falls behind JuJu the chances of that are completely out the window. Talking about 10s of millions of dollars. I get it, but I also don't think it's appropriate to act like a 3 year old to get your wayYeah, I have a feeling that his agent may be giving him some bad advice, too. I get it. He wants to get paid but he simply does not have any leverage in his current situation. Now if he starts playing like a man possessed, it's a win-win for him and the team.
I have no idea what you're talking about. I've been posting here all season. I just don't spend the most of my day in here. I actually have a life. Another thing you're wrong about is that I told someone they were awful. I said he was unpleasant. And that's evident when you get your panties in a bunch because of a football player(s) actions that are not threatening to himself or someone else. I'm not a regular in the FFA, nor have I ever been. But, please continue with the teenage drama. It's entertaining.Says the guy who hasn't commented in here at all the last while, but comes in here to tell someone how awful of a person he must be.All he ever does is offer negativity to every thread he goes in.

Don't think it happens but Jimmy Graham for Bryant... Might need to add something. The ticker at the bottom of NFL RZ just said Rapoport is reporting that teams have reportedly contacted Steelers about a trade for Bryant.
Why would Seattle trade for Bryant?Don't think it happens but Jimmy Graham for Bryant... Might need to add something.
And why would the Steelers want Graham? He can't block and the Steelers like to feed Bell this year. Why would Seattle trade for Bryant?
.Tomlin is a blunt coach who doesn't really BS. The fact he said this tells me two things.Steelers coach Mike Tomlin was noncommittal on Martavis Bryant's role moving forward.
Bryant was inactive against the Lions Sunday night, a game which saw JuJu Smith-Schuster explode for 193 yards and a touchdown, and his coach does not seem to be in a rush to get him back in the lineup. Asked if he was confident Bryant would contribute down the stretch, Tomlin said, "I'm not. We'll see." Bryant is worth holding to see if the Steelers make a move before Tuesday's trade deadline, but his fantasy future in Pittsburgh looks bleak
Before this last week's game I would have said Seattle would be in the market, but Richardson and Lockett really had nice games. I would put them out of the market for a WR at this pointAnd why would the Steelers want Graham? He can't block and the Steelers like to feed Bell this year.
What if he doesn't fix it? What if he keeps up this charade? How can you win a title when one of your WRs is such a big distraction?I still don't see any trade scenario that is likely to occur - nobody will offer the Steelers enough to want to part with his potential. The Steelers are a title contender this year and having a physically talented WR as insurance is far better that a random 5th,6th, 7th round pick. By all accounts Bryant has been a great teammate when at the facility and he took his demotion to scout team well - he had great practices as a scout team WR. Bryant was reprimanded, demoted and made inactive due to his use of social media - seems like a pretty easy thing for him to fix in order to stay out of the dog house.
If a trade for a 5th, 6th, or 7th rounder is made I will think it's a mistake.
He's giving them insurance in case someone in front of him gets injured - that's not nothing.I think it's better to get something for him rather than nothing. And right now he's giving them nothing.
If he's a healthy scratch and someone gets hurt, they suffer for that game. Sure, he gives them insurance long term, but he has significantly underwhelmed in his years in PIT, so what's to say that will change with an injury? He's giving them insurance in case someone in front of him gets injured - that's not nothing.
People say this a lot here. What is his value? I mean he hasn't done much in recent memory. He is 1 strike away from a 1 year suspension. All of that hurts his value. It's perhaps very possible that many in Steeler nation are over-valuing this guy just as much as Bryant is himself...If Bryant is truly going to put his nose to the grindstone and just work to improve and play the role he is given as he indicated, there isn't a pick/player they will realistically get back that would equate to his value.
Big if there, and obviously the driving force behind Tomlins lack of commitment to his role going forward.
With JuJu, AB, and Bryant that's about as perfectly complimentary group of receivers as you could ask for. 3 guys that can play outside and in the slot interchangeably and beat you over the top on any given route combination from any of those three spots is a rare grouping.
If they move him they have truly given up on him. For FF purposes, if that is the case, I wouldn't be investing anything significant to acquire him.
I think we see him active and play limited snaps next week. Eli Rogers didn't do anything to endear himself in his absence and Hunter lacks any semblance of ball skills. I'd bet on them holding and Martavis being a role player down the stretch.
They stuck with him through the suspension and rehab, I see no reason to sell low just because the guy wants the ball.
I think his real value is extremely low also, but, within this particular wide receiver corp his potential value is very high.Dr. Dan said:People say this a lot here. What is his value? His value may be way lower than you think. He has risk being a head case and the 1 strike left severely hurts his value. Even on the Steelers, his play has been terrible.
Yup. This guy may be lacking a bit in maturity, and with an immature person, I could see a slip up given the frustration he is experiencing. One slip, and his value becomes Justin Blackmon's value. They should trade while there is a perception of potential
Who is saying there is a tremendous interest in him around the league?Chris Mortenson had some interesting comments on Mike & Mike this morning... basically making it sounds as though the interest from other teams in Bryant is either tremendously overblown, or the best kept secret around the league. He noted that Bryant being one slip-up away from indefinite suspension combined with on-going maturity issues is not something NFL GM's covet (unlike Shark Pool fantasy owners I suppose).
