With Marvin Harrison looking to be a GTD, do you still risk playing him? If not, who are you playing in his place?I know I been flip flopping Harrison and Shockey in my flex position...love to have Harrison in, but if he is a GTD, how much performance can you expect anyway.

Wide receiver Marvin Harrison remains questionable for the Indianapolis Colts' game against Jacksonville on Monday night because of a bruised left knee. Colts coach Tony Dungy said before practice Saturday that Harrison would probably be a game-time decision in the AFC South clash between the Colts (5-0) and Jaguars (4-1).

My vote to sit Harrison is a bit slanted since I'm fortunate enough to have TJ and T.O. to fall back on. Even if he was healthy I may have chosen to sit him. His GTD status makes this easy for me.

For others out there who may not have such good backup options, I think this is the classic "What do you need?" scenario. If you've got the stronger team this week and you need a safe option, stay away from Harrison. If you need a home run to pull the upset, plug him in a hope for the best.

It is good advice, and I need about six home runs since I am playing the top ranked team!!!! I need all the points I can get though...I think you will find that with a monday night GTD, many will just play someone else and hope that Harrison does not have a career night for your bench!

Have Harrison in WCOFF and plan to play him. If he's a no-go we have Fred Taylor or Kenton Keith to put into the flex spot, not too keen on either of these options, or which one we'd play though.

If rosters locked in tonight or tomorrow morning I would sit Harrison and play another option.

Jags D has looked pretty good since week 1 and Im not sure he would be a great play even if he starts.

Also needing the homerun as I'm also playing the top team in the league. I really have no other options as Braylon is on bye. Waiver wire is extremely thin. If Marvin doesn't go, who is set to take his spot? Gonzalez? Moorehead?

Executed my contingency plan today. Dropped Javon and added Gonzalez. In that league I can change out players up to 1/2 hour before kickoff. Cutting Javon was a no brainer anyway though.

Is Gonzalez a lock to start? I thought he started last game because Moorehead was also out?

Where is the option for: Yes - I believe he's going to play even though I could bench him for someone else on Sunday?

Tony Dungy expects Marvin Harrison to play

Posted Oct. 20 at 04:09 AM

Indianapolis Colts WR Marvin Harrison (knee) is considered questionable for Monday's game vs. Jacksonville after failing to practice Friday. However, despite sitting out Thursday and Friday, head coach Tony Dungy still expects Harrison to play this week. Source: NFL.com.

sitting Marvin (if he plays) and watching him score 2 TD's on Monday night would be frustrating.

The one league I have him in is a yahoo league. So I"ll just pick up Matt Jones or Reggie Williams to start in his place on Monday. Will have to drop Morency in a fairly deep league

Have him starting on my squad. My only other option considering my available players comes down to Evans vs. the Ravens D. So I'm keeping him in as a starter and crossing my fingers that he gets the green light.

Just traded Edge James for him this week straight up in 12 team PPR keep 3 league.

Decided to bench him and play Calvin Johnson and also have Chad Johnson and Terrell Owens.

Next week is TO's bye week and that's when I really need him. So hopefully he's not a GTD next week.

After week 8 my starting wrs every week through week 13 and playoffs will be Chad Johnson, Terrell Owens and Marvin Harrison. With Antonio Gates as my TE in a must start TE league.

If I lose this week I'm done. I can't afford a 0 from him. Although I think if he plays there will be a good chance for a high-end performance whether they're playing the Jags D or not - it IS Marvin and it IS Payton.

I have to submit my lines by kickoff so I'm strongly siding towards starting Patrick Crayton against the last ranked pass D in the L.

The Indianapolis Star says he practiced Saturday:

Wide receiver Marvin Harrison and linebacker Gary Brackett returned to the practice field this morning, increasing the possibility each will be available when the Indianapolis Colts meet Jacksonville Monday night.

Coach Tony Dungy remained optimistic each will play against the Jaguars. Harrison missed the Oct. 7 win over Tampa Bay after bruising his left knee the previous week.

Bowe is my contingency plan. I'm not crazy about his matchup but I'd rather have the comfort knowing that he'll be playing.

Starting him and not thinking twice.. I only have a choice today and I don't want to put Booker in for him.. Rather get a zero with Harrison then put Booker in and get 3 points and see Harrison go off.. I figure if Harrison sits or I put Booker in I will lose any way..

I am going to play Ward over Marvin at this moment. However, that will change depending on the outcome fo the early games. I would go Marvin if my early day scoring is lousey.

This was my thinking also - although I was leaning towards Northcutt as a last option instead of Jones and Williams.

I am playing him, BUT if he's not good to go - then I'll start Anthony Gonzalez instead.

I have Braylon off this week, so not too many choices.

Sitting Marvin for Bowe, Holt, and Stallworth - I have faith all 3 of these WRs will produce today, so i'm making the conservative play

Going with Mason over Harrison. No options. Would love to play Marvin, but not thrilled with the matchup vs. Jax and R Mathis this week anyway. Add the uncertainty on top of it, and the fact he's not 100%, and it seems like Mason is the safer play.
