Lions' Williams replaces Holt in Pro Bowl ALLEN PARK, Mich. (Jan. 12, 2007) -- Detroit Lions receiver Roy Williams has been added to the 2007 NFC Pro Bowl squad, replacing Torry Holt of the St. Louis Rams.Williams finished the season with an NFC-leading 1,310 receiving yards and 82 receptions, both career highs. His 16 yards-per-catch average was tops among wide receivers with 65 or more receptions. He also led the league with 24 receptions of 20 yards or more.This will mark the third-year player's first trip to the annual all-star game. He's first Lions wide receiver named to the Pro Bowl roster since Herman Moore in 1998.

good for roy, very deserving imo.

What happens to him next year if they draft quinn/russell? Or if they start mcnown? Is kitna back next year?

I see him as a low end wr1 high wr2. But he is only 25, and improving in every game. Where does he get drafted in next years drafts?

Russell would be a benefit long term, not this year. Same with Quinn.McCown? :no: I'd rather see Orlovvsky develop.
 
Great, I'm looking forward to him catching a non-important pass when the game is out of reaching an letting us all know it was for a first down.

Better yet, maybe he will open his mouth and say he is going to have a huge game... only to catch 1 pass.
