9.02 CEDRIC BENSON, RB, CINCINNATI BENGALS

I certainly don't love the guy, but he did put up a handful of nice games last year. He appears to have at least earned a shot at the starting job for the Bengals next year, so that's enough for me in the 9th round.

I think that was good value. He went at 7.05 in WLS3

9.08 Dominique Hixon WR NYG

Well, unless this draft takes off, my next pick will be made by the Beach in St Martin. :)

Lets hope the WIFI works, it did last time.

Make the turn? ... good one! Chances of that happening are pretty slim.

We started off gangbusters but have since hit the skids pretty bad.

don't know why people are in such a hurry to finish drafts when there is no real deadline that has to be met

No rush ... just anxious.

I forgot how long the wait could be near the end of a 16 teamer.

Just venting, carry on. :football:

It is nice though to keep pace and/or outpace the other two WSLs, just for the name-dropping effect.8 rounds a week is about typical.
I couldn't agree more, I dislike being the last draft. Too many chances of someone from another draft drafting a guy that you like and bringing to everyone's attention.

And the counter argument is...don't know why people are in such a hurry to sign up for early season drafts when they're not that interested in actively drafting. Historically, once it starts to slow down everyone else becomes lax about checking in and a 3 week draft can extend to 6 weeks (one of these actually went 8 weeks once). Not as bad this time of year, but people start running into other commitments such as vacation that they didn't anticipate being a problem. That said, the drafts seem to be moving at a decent pace across the board this year.

Correct on all counts. If things go at this pace, we'll be close to done by the Pro Bowl (fine by me).Even with 20 rounds.

that's true... I think 9 rounds in a week is fine though...

I'll stick around for a few more minutes. If I'm not mistaken Blue Kun times out in a few minutes and the rest of us around the turn are all here.

9.12 - Felix Jones, RB, DAL

p.s. We went from 2pm to 3am w/o a pick, but because it's EST time, nobody got timed out. Give me a break here when rushing to time me out. :/

No offense BK, just trying to keep things moving.

At the time I wrote that, all of us at the end were here and we could have turned the corner quickly.

Yeah, that's fair. I'm kind of just #####ing for #####ing's sake at this point. :goodposting: Half a year removed, I forgot that I usually have to send pick lists for a huge number of my rounds since my pick usually falls inside a 'dead zone' where I can't stay awake late enough to make a pick, nor wake up quick enough to do so w/o being inconvenient to everyone else.

Not sure when John doe will be back, but I gotta split.

Give me either G. Camarillo WR MIA or the Steeler D.

I'll be back in a couple of hours for my round 10 pick.

Laurence Maroney - Moth, meet flame.

Trent Edwards - Good news for Buffalo fans, my track record picking QBs in WSLs suggests you'll be getting a new quarterback this offseason.

Since they will be getting their 6th Super Bowl today, I may as well take the bext D out there

10.03 Pittsburgh Steelers D
