It's a little slower then normal, but not bad by any means. We've done 1 1/2 rounds in the last 24 hours.

May want to re-think the "a little slow" part.Six picks since midnight is pretty poor - and two came back-to-back and two more were lists.Come on guys.

Make or break year for this guy. Early word is that he could be released if he doesn't have a good training camp. On the flip side, he has the opportunity to move into the Devery Henderson role in the offense should DH leave via free agency. He's showed flashes of talent, but has made way too many mental errors to stay on the field.

Taking the sack leader in 08 and having Felix Jones back to return kicks makes me feel good about this one.

 
Yo folks, you're now tracking on a pace for a 5 week draft. I like to keep these to a month long window. We're hitting D and K and trash time. PM a list to the guy behind you or one of the active guys. There's no need to wait for hours for someone to choose between the Rams and Denver defenses. If things don't pick up I may implement a 50% across the board timer reduction.

People lose interest and stop checking in. These have dragged out to 8 plus weeks before. People sign up and commit based upon a reasonable time expectation. Next thing you know they're bumping into vacations and other conflicts. When it becomes a chore to spend 8 weeks on a draft people drop out.The flip side to your question is why sign up for an internet based draft in January if you're not a hardcore ff nut. I don't want to suggest that we need to go to any extremes, but the model has survived quite well for several years with us targetting draft timeframes around 4 weeks. All we're suggesting is that people who are going to be scarce try to use the PM function.
 
This isn't rocket science guys.

1. Check in regularly if you are going to enter the league.

2. If you aren't going to be available for a period of time, send someone a PM with a list.

3. Not comfortable sending someone in the draft a PM? Send it to another poster who is on regularly.

4. Have someone else check in for you. I have even had Mrs. Punk pick for four straight rounds once when I was out of town.

Let's get this moving.
