It's a risk/reward decision.For a WR that was a first- or second-round pick last year, getting him in Round 7 is a great pick if that's the player you get in 2009. If he's in jail, of course it is a waste. Leagues like this, however, are won and lost based on taking on some risk.You might be right, but I have a funny feeling he's doing time. Let's not forget that the commish would almost certainly add a significant suspension even if he were to work around the jail thing. Meaning, IF HE PLAYS, he's still likely to miss 4 or more games.All in all...not a gamble I'd take this early, if at all.So was OJ....the first time. And this is a lesser crime.Seriously, he has a decent chance to get away with a suspension and a fine and maybe some commuted sentence for being stupid. 3.5 years in NYC probably was a gross overreaction. If he can get out of that (with his lawyers) then the Giants absolutely want him back as their #1.Have I missed something on Burress? I thought he was afor prison?
