I'm picking them up this week. WW is thin and just watched the stl/sea game. Think stl can make plays and frustrate bad offenses.I like STL this week vs. ARI. Very underrated and ARI is bad.
Another vote for the Vikings defense. Plug and play and accumulate the points. Not seeing one that stands out right now, some options are:
MIN vs TEN![]()
ATL @ WAS
CIN vs MIA
Who do you like?
Was thinking along the same lines ... will we actually get a Flynn sighting if this gets ugly?Few points to consider here .... if your league is tilted heavily to points allowed, this could be a great option; though the Seattle D forcing Cam into a couple turnovers and giving the 'Hawks a short field is a concern. But still don't see any way "Air Russel" can hang any more than 17 points up here ...Unless ... Lynch runs wild against a very suspect Panthers' run defense (Andre Brown, anyone? Michael "slow burner" Turner housing it from 60 on a screen?) Even so, long ball control drives eat the clock, and move the clock along. Has all the makings of a 21-17 type game. Hoping Cam did turn a corner last week, can keep up the more explosive play; forcing Wilson to win this one on the road. Very likely scenario which could yield a bounty of scoring for Panthers D.I like the Panthers here as a solid "sleeper" ... worth the one week gamble if you are bereft of other options.Probably ill advised, but I went with the Carolina Panthers this week.- Playing at home helps.- Facing a struggling rookie QB.- Seattle is great running the ball, but dead last in passing. Bottom 4 in total yards.- All of Wilson's turnovers have been on the road.- Panthers have faced Brees, Eli, and Ryan the last 3 weeks - rough trio that will make any defense look bad stats-wise.- Sacked Ryan 7 times last week. Not expecting much, but hoping for the best.
I'm not sure this is gonna end well, but good luck.I'm toying with CIN. may be able to get a 2 week run out of them...this week vs Miami, next week vs Cleveland
For those in deep leagues with thin WW DSTs available.... Carolina facing Seattle hitting the road could be promising. The defense has been poor in Charlotte but if I recall correctly Seattle used to have a bad time traveling to the opposite coast, not sure if that's still the case though.I wanted Minny. I think that is the pick this week. Had to settle on STL. CAR was my next choice.
My first option was MIN but some ####### put 15% of his FAAB budget on it. STL was my second option so I'm rolling with them, as well. Good luck.I like STL this week vs. ARI. Very underrated and ARI is bad.
I wanted MIN and STL, I have to settle for Carolina..I wanted Minny. I think that is the pick this week. Had to settle on STL. CAR was my next choice.
I went Miami bc they have a great schedule rest of year. Their SOS according to fbg isn't in the green but probably only bc of two pats games. But I thought they looked good last two weeks.Last night, I noticed a run on the Miami defense. All leagues picked them up. Must be looking ahead to week 6 against St Louis? And I thought picking up Minnesota was hardcore.![]()

I've made worse moves than this.I like STL this week vs. ARI. Very underrated and ARI is bad.
Wow.I was going to roll with CAR but Gamble and Beason are looking doubtful.I may end up rolling with SEA, idk, it's really scarce for me right now.
Agreed. Carolina made Andre Brown look like a probowler in spot duty, and the next week made Michael Turner look like "Turner the Burner" after he looked all but done in the first 3 games. Just cross Carolina off any defensive flier lists. Not sure how anyone can trust Carolina. That defense has been so bad. They can't tackle and their defensive backs struggle to make plays on any long pass. Thinking of rolling with Cincy over Seattle but they are tough to trust
Oooffahhh. From "sleeper" to "sleeps with the fishes" .. :XI was going to roll with CAR but Gamble and Beason are looking doubtful.
Yeah, to be honest though, neither CAR or SEA give up many points to opposing DEFs. It's very possible neither would have been good play. The game may stay on the ground the whole time limiting potential sacks and INTs. At least I played STL in half of my leagues and got MIN rollin in the other one. :IBTL:Oooffahhh. looks like redskins and giants games could be effected. more wind in ny though. the ne/den game could be hit with some rain and wind too. these games may not be the high scoring games some thinkInclement weather out there. Any place this might present an opportunity?
It was solid before they gave up that TD in the end. They did okay for me.Vikings came up big for me this week.
Only reason they did was because they were in prevent D being up big in the game.It was solid before they gave up that TD in the end. They did okay for me.Vikings came up big for me this week.

The MIA/STL game could be a gold mine. I'm just struggling with which side to go with.'tjnc09 said:Miami is probably the best option for week 6
