Yahoo Fantasy Football list Legedu Naanee as WR/TE (1 Viewer)

Does he have the potential to overcome Vincent Jackson for a starting spot opposite Chris Chambers? I remember him getting a lot of playing time (and looks) towards the end of last season. Does this have the potential to turn into another Marques Colston (Wr/Te) gaffe that gave many Yahoo FF managers a leg up in their leagues....thoughts?

can you explain what your emoticon means?thanks
Prior to board updates, it was equivalent to the "whire corner" or sehorn...i.e. he is marking it down, as it is a topic he is interested in.

I don't think Vincent Jackson will lose the starting spot this year unless he gets injured. If he did go down, I'd expect Craig Davis to get first shot at replacing him. Naanee runs inside routes for the most part and lines up at/near the TE spot generally (which is probably why yahoo has him there).

It would take a bit of misfortune for the Chargers' receiver corps for Naanee to have significant value in FF terms this year.

But he is a guy to grap and stash in a dynasty.

As much as I like Naanee, and I do think he'll help San Diego this year, he won't be a top 12 TE in yahoo, most likely not worth owning in redrafts.

I'll stash him in my dynasty leagues, as I think he can be a player, but I won't be paying much to do so.

Thought he was going to have a chance to battle Davis for the WR3 role, but Buster seems to have won that. Since VJax and Gates are injured, Naane should have had plenty of chances to impress the staff, but I haven't heard too much.
