YAHOO GLITCH in front of tonight's games........ (1 Viewer)

 Went to the wire to snag MVS to play in place of Davante Adams in tonight's game shortly ago.

 It is NOT showing MVS  (Dropped Brian Hill) on my bench as it usually does, even though the transaction is noted on the main league page.

I have tried signing out and back in, and accessing it on the Yahoo app, and also through the website.

No change anywhere.  It is like MVS is a ghost not appearing on my team, and Hill is STILL THERE.

 Anyone else having a similar issue?

This is showing in an MFL league of mine as well. Team dropped a guy mid last week and he’s still on his active roster. Idk why

The point is, I am unable to slot him in...... to get tonight's numbers.  He is not even listed on my bench, although on the main league page the transaction of acquiring him from free agents.

 I have emailed Yahoo support on this, I can't be the only one having this issue.

 I was quickly sent back an automated email giving me a "case number", saying "someone will respond to you shortly".

In all my years on there, this is a first that I can recall.

I picked up MVS in my league and slotted him in for Adams with no issues in my Yahoo league. My only problem is if that's the right choice over Sammy Watkins.

I am not sure if this helps @TZMarkie -- if MVS isn't showing up on his team, how can he make roster changes to slot in MVS tonight?

Maybe I am misunderstanding the problem.

It's funny to see this as in advance of waivers on Wed, I usually put in some claims just so they are there and I don't forget -- I go back Tuesday and cancel some, add some, and reorder prior to Wednesday's run.

In doing that, I was making claims for players who have already played -- D'Ernest Johnson, Scotty Miller, etc. Brian Hill was also someone I wanted to add a claim for preemptively as someone who is seeing some share of carries. But was mindlessly doing it forgetting that he still has to play.

Now I am paranoid that the claim went through and I am not seeing it -- I don't see it on our league page, or received an email for it on Yahoo. The guy I would have dropped for Hill is still on my team.

What I don't want to happen is me not seeing anything, but the claim processing tomorrow, and me not being able to drop Hill for someone I would have a higher priority claim for tomorrow.

Am I being too paranoid?

  Follow this.......I go to the wire, to pick up a free agent to play in tonights game.  (most leagues will leave wires open until said games start...correct?)

I add MVS, and I eliminate Brian Hill from my bench.  (Also note that Hill has NOT played this week, and is from the same game, so he should be able to be dropped or added freely since the game has not started)

Well here is the weird thing...... It lets me add MVS, and drop Hill, and that transaction is noted on our main league page.

 BUT - going to my team, Hill is STILL ON MY BENCH AND MVS IS NOT THERE.   So while the transaction is noted on the main page, it is NOT reflecting it on my team and bench.

  (How can you slot in a guy if he isn't there on your bench?) It's like he is a ghost.

To further muddy the waters in some leagues the gametime listed beside the players is reads "9:00"  and in other leagues the SAME PLAYERS ARE LISTED AS 8:50 .

This is likely all related, and several I know are speculating its something related to the gametime juggling for tonight.

I will keep everyone posted when Yahoo responds.

Had the same problem ... lost DeVante, tried to add Harry.

It say each and every time “this transaction will show on your week 5 lineup”

which is typical in yahoo when trying to drop a player that has already played for the week.

so then I try dropping a player from tonight’s game as well - my kicker (Crosby) still give the same message about week 5.

So yea. I’m out a starter tonight because of this as well.

This was the thought train from the very start, and even the "game time" on Yahoo varied from league to league earlier. (some said 8:50, other leagues said 9:00)  I noticed this about 20 minutes ago, they were fixed....but not the "phantom player bench" issue.

As of right now directly before the game, I still can NOT slot in MVS as he is not listed as on my team.

Weird, hopefully Yahoo addresses  this.  (I will likely lose no matter what, but I have total points wagers going literally EVERYWHERE )

 My issues on Yahoo have been very rare, but this one sucks.
