Year of the QB (1 Viewer)

Actually, not just year of the QB, but year of the QB TEAM. Palmer- Cinci Chad, TJ :bag: , Brady- Pats Moss  , Anderson- Browns Edwards, Winslow  , Romo- Dallas TO, Crayton  . Choke city.

Guess that is natural considering the QB stinks, the REC will have a bad day too.

See my thread last year about "Stud QB Playoff Flop Theory."

Every year, at least one Top-5 QB has his worst game of the year in the playoffs. Last year it was Vick and Brees. This year it's Brady and maybe some others.

It's not that players are more likely to have bad games during the playoffs; it's that owners are less likely to bench them during the playoffs.

That's interesting, particularly since in my league the 4 teams in the playoffs are starting these 4 QB's respectively: Brady, Anderson, Romo and Peyton. Those are the top 4 QB's in this league. Brady sure took the day off considering what he has done all season. My QB, Manning, has already outscored Brady and it's just the first half. I got a chance of pulling this thing out....

Stud RB Playoff Flop Theory..... A.Peterson zero pts last week..... J.Addai 5 pts this week.Stud WR Playoff Flop Theory.... T.Owens 3 pts last week and 0 pts this week (so far).

What I'm trying to say is that if you take the top 4 at every position and look at how they perform over any 3 game stretch, there's going to be a few stinkers.

As you saw in my original post, I don't necessarily believe that players are more likely to have bad games during that particular 3-game stretch. The problem is that we, as fantasy owners, become more conservative and less likely to bench our studs during the playoffs. The weather wouldn't even be an issue if this was Week 5. But because it's Week 15 we feel like we have to stick with the same players we've been starting all year.
