You can join Mensa FOR FREE this month with your test scores! (1 Viewer)

"Free". You still have to pay for a transcript of whatever test and have it sent to them.

I imagine the kind of scrote who has his old SAT test or Stanford-Binet IQ test results handy and ready to submit is already a Mensa member and tells everyone he meets about it within seconds of meeting them.
what are the benefits and can just one score get us in? LSAT from 20 years ago seems to qualify but why join?

Literally the only benefit of membership is you get to put "Mensa Member" on your resume. And presumably your eHarmony account.
guessing the members prefer meHarmony

I think I messed up the URL somehow, looks like I just joined DENSA for $100.66, repeating of course.

Not true.  Local, regional, and national gatherings are a lot of fun.  There are special interest groups for a wide range of subjects, and there are a lot ways to connect to other Mensans via social media (including international members).  Email and magazine publications are interesting as well.

As far as putting it on a resume...most avoid it because it tends to hurt more than help.

Because when I do something stupid and someone says "Look at this ####### Mensa member," I can answer in the affirmative.
