I agree it does get a little ridiculous some times with the thread closing on Sundays. Although some moderation is needed, they get a bit out of control with auto closing anything that is even slightly outside of the lines.
Relax FBG - it's not going to hurt your business if a thread stating A. Foster is out stays open for more than 20 friggin seconds.

I agree. And almost posted the same thing in the game thread. The closed thread was more useful to someone who just wants to know where the guy is. The first indication of what happened was post #84 or something.

It's not very hard. push 'Ctrl' +'F' and type in the name you are looking for and you'll find what you need. Better than cluttering up the rest of the board with the same topic.

Exactly my point - they're so frantic and concerned with over moderating a football forum on a Sunday they don't realize when they're getting in their own way. You're right Herron asked someone to start a separate Foster thread so as not to muddy up the game thread

Yep that was me, no one did after the first 2 were either not well intentioned or de-railed.When he didn't start the 2nd quarter I encouraged someone else to start a thread, but no one did.

Hicks, not HerronIf you have a problem with the moderation on Sundays take it up with management please.There is a fine line between keeping the discussion in one thread and chaos.Most new threads started on Sunday during games in progress are either venting or add nothing.If a significant injury happens it can get a new thread, the Foster situation can get a new thread if someone starts a decent one that doesn't concentrate on moderating atrocities or point to the shirt statements.

That above locked thread seemed pretty straight forward to me. Didn't get off topic except for two people but those should be deleted not the thread locked. Just my 2 cents. I am a huge fan of FBG and a paying subscriber but would have liked these threads to make it. I wouldn't of known he was out if I didn't see them. I don't read each game thread.

Yep, probably should have kept that open, but it seemed to be off track. Lots more info was in the Game Thread. In hindsight, I'd take that one back.
