that's a monster hand. just ask gus hansen.I figured it was probably a terrible hand and that certainly qualifies. Not much I could do here. I know he pushes if I limp.

In a satellite, I don't see any other way.im assuming stall techniques are the norm at this point
I would sit out and watch a movie with the computer sitting on a desk, but out of reach, so I wouldn't be tempted to play.Slight hijack:
Say you had a huge stack of like 80,000 right now. Would you even play another hand or would you just sit back and let everyone eliminate themselves?
i figured as much. just making sure. keep it upIn a satellite, I don't see any other way.im assuming stall techniques are the norm at this point
I would raise 3-4x very often, stealing blinds constantly, unless it stopped working.Slight hijack:

Probably not play a hand, although you could make an argument for calling the all-ins of tiny stacks just to get them out.Slight hijack:

Why risk it? I would let them eliminate themselves.Probably not play a hand, although you could make an argument for calling the all-ins of tiny stacks just to get them out.Slight hijack:

What means this???Hand for hand now. nice
I wouldn't call their all ins without a hand unless someone else looked likely to and we could team kill them. I would raise into unopened pots though, because you're going to win the blinds a ridiculous amount of the time. Why risk it? It means there's 40 people left, so every table starts every hand at the same time, and the next hand doesnt get dealt until all tables are done. This keeps people from stalling, but also makes sure people know who is 40th and who is 39th. Which is important, because 40th gets nothing, while 39th gets 200 something and 38th gets 650.What means this???Hand for hand now. nice
How are places deterimined when two or more go out on the same hand???It means there's 40 people left, so every table starts every hand at the same time, and the next hand doesnt get dealt until all tables are done. Sure, but why push into a bigger hand? That's a completely unnecessary risk. Good play.Damn, I should've pushed....he would've folded for sure.
I'm rooting for jw about as hard as I was rooting for myself. This is awesome.fred - is this a little easier for you than last Sunday?

HostJeff [supervisor]: jwv, please watch your language.
I was literally sweating last week.I've watched both weeks and these are more exciting than any tourney on tv - even with the pace.
You're in 22nd. If there were small stacks at your table, you would want them facing blinds faster. But here, there aren't, so I think you stall.so do I stall still?
This is quality schtickjwvdcw: I apologize HostJeff. It will not happen again. I'm sorry....sometimes the icy pots just get the best of me.
