How do you unlock a player in MFL? (1 Viewer)

you can always go here for any MFL questions

and search for you problem. most are common and they will have an answer for you.

and If they don't have an answer you can submit a trouble ticket, and they will get back to you usually in a couple of hours.

One of the dumb things about MFL is that you can't lock a player manually; you can only unlock them.
I agree that's annoying. Is there a way to have a 2nd waiver for recently dropped players that are locked?

for example Blind Bidding waivers clear on Wednesday 7PM, any dropped player is locked until the "Locked players only waiver" clear on Sunday at 7AM. while allowing First Come First Serve players to be out of the waivers?

I've been using MFL for 5 years and we allow "waiver claims" on players who are locked. The team making the request get's them at their original "dropped" salary. The only way I've found to do this is have the team owners manually send me a claim via email and I have to manually assign the player to their roster. As to the OP, when signed in as the commissioner, you go to Reports > Players > Locked Players then click on the "Unlock This Player" link.

this must prevent the Commissioner from making any claims for his team on locked player, right?

you can but it takes some work.lets say you want to lock player A. add player A to your team and drop player B. Unlock player B, add him back and drop player A. delete the transactions so it never happened and now player A is locked and nothing has changed.

Yes. The commish needs to set up the waivers to run for locked players each day, up until Sunday. I do this with my league. We run our initial waivers Wednesday morning, then each day after that is another run for players that were dropped (and locked) the previous day. Example: Players who were dropped when the waivers ran on Wednesday morning can be bid on during the day Wednesday and then they will be awarded Thursday morning. If no one bids on them they become FCFS after waivers run Thursday morning. Waivers only actually run if there was a bid on a locked player. Once the player becomes un-locked, he is available to be picked up FCFS.
