GM's Thread About Everything/GM's Thread About Nothing (21 Viewers)

Probably one of rock's most underrated guitarists.  But I'm still confused about that whole child pornography thing and what to believe.

Not sure how much time he spent in Seattle.
My go-to Pete Townshend impression is to just scream "I WAS DOING RESEARCH!!"

anyone know how to keep dogs away from a particular area?  my a hole neighbors let their dogs #### anywhere and don't pick it up.  fencing is not an option.  i'm considering a dummy camera(or a real one) with a super, passive aggressive note about reporting them to the HOA  smile, you're on camera!
Punch the dog in the face.

Sitting in a box seat at minute maid Park, waiting to see the Japanese babe Ruth take on the good guys. Ignoramus and his wife and kid are on the way. Dollar hot dogs. Life is bueno
Dollar Dog night was a bust. Evidently it's my fault concessions was cash only and all I gave Mrs. Igno was a plastic card that she can insert into a machine to have it spit out stacks of money. On the plus side we got to eat $50 worth of cold footlongs (FTR that buys you four footlong weenies instead of fifty ####### Dollar Dogs, yay!).

Oh yeah, chipped a tooth , too. Could have used some of those edibles.

Meeting cos and the wife for a day game now so hoping for a better outcome today.

I had a small victory today.   Behind the back fence of my house is a city right of way.   The area is covered in blackberry bushes that have become overgrown and threatened to grow under, through and over my fence.  I called the city and asked them whose obligation it was to maintain the right of way, and they informed me it was theirs, but they only do it about every two years.  I told them the blackberries were about to damage my fence.   The guy said he'd look into it.  Today, the city came and cleared out all of the blackberry bushes.

I haven't felt this good since my divorce became final.

But instead of half your money it cost you all your blackberries

I will never hit the leaderboard, since I use rover on portable devices and fish on my laptop.  The odd thing is that fish gets a far higher ratio of likes per post than rover does.  I think people are just freaked out by the eye.

A buddy of mine got a pretty big promotion a couple of years ago but the new position was in Salinas.  He and his wife buy a condo in Monterey with the plan of both of them moving there when the school year was over (she's a special ed teacher).

After about 5 months of spending weekends and vacations there the wife decides she doesn't want to relocate from our thriving metropolis.  She claimed that Monterey was "too foggy and chilly."

So my buddy transfers back here (taking a demotion).  They still own the condo in Monterey.  I guess they're going to Air BnB it.

wtf
Been coverting with special ed kids for too long IMO.

Curious though for some opinions on the following situation. I have a good friend that is 74 and got sick in early February.  We've been close friends for 26 years.  Had a heart attack, died 3 times.  I saw her in early March and was a mess.  It was like a bad zombie movie.  I cried all the way home.

She's doing much better now, took 7 steps yesterday and talked my ear off.  She's amazing which is why I've always loved her, a fighter.

Why I'm posting is that when it looked the bleakest one of her three daughters said to pull the plug.  Made me sick the hear that.  #### man, it was hard.  Of course she said #### you and came back for more. Yesterday she asked me to be the executor of her estate.  This was in front of her daughter and I've been in communication with her other daughter that didn't want to kill her for money the whole time.  My friend asked me to think about it and let all of them know.

So, I would do anything in the world for my friend but this seems like a really bad situation to get in to.  So....

Do what your friend wants you do.  F### the daughter.  Figuratively. But literally also if you want to.

Have the lawyer doing the will be the executor.  The role is supposed to be administrative anyway, just carrying out the wishes, not making judgment calls.  I'd stay the #### out of that family drama.

That's where I'm at.  I'm not so sure she has trusted representation though.  Either way,  it sucks.  I want to be there for her the way she has always been there for me but I'm not the right guy for this job.

I'll do it. The daughter, I mean.

But seriously, that sucks. Sorry to hear but I agree you don't want to get involved in the family drama.
