Dynasty & Redraft: RB DeAndre Washington, Dolphins (1 Viewer)

I think the take above is underestimating  Washington’s path to the starting gig. Don’t see 2-3 injuries to make him relevant, even if for the short term. Definitely a mediocre guy, but he’s set up for potential success with a decent situation.
Rotoworld:

The Miami Herald reports Myles Gaskin will miss three games with a sprained MCL.

Gaskin will presumably be stashed on injured reserve. The Dolphins acquired Chiefs RB DeAndre Washington out of left field on Tuesday. Now we know why. It's a big blow for the Dolphins, as Gaskin has become their clear-cut lead back, to the point where Jordan Howard has been a healthy scratch. OC Chain Gailey will now be forced to duct tape and glue a backfield together out of Howard, Matt Breida, Patrick Laird and Washington. It's a supremely unimpressive collection of talent. Howard will offer last-ditch RB3/FLEX appeal, though hopefully Breida will be the touch leader. Breida is worth a gander in the majority of leagues where he is on the waiver wire. If Gaskin adheres to his timeline, he will miss games against the Cardinals, Chargers and Broncos before returning in Week 12 against the lowly Jets. However, it's unlikely he will simply slide back into his old role at that point, making him an uncertain hold in 10-12 team leagues.

Shouldn’t we be talking about this guy?

Breida out, Jordan Howard a healthy scratch.

Salvon Ahmad should get the start - but I believe Washington is the most NFL ready. Not to mention the Dolphins just traded for him.

very nice add this  week imo

Dolphins RB DeAndre Washington (hamstring) is doubtful for Week 13 against the Bengals.

As is Salvon Ahmed (shoulder). With Matt Breida also missing Friday's practice with an unknown illness, the team may have no choice but to activate Myles Gaskin (knee, IR) and throw him into the fire on Sunday. If Gaskin can't go, Patrick Laird would be the last man standing on Miami's active roster.

DeAndre Washington will be the Dolphins' Week 14 starter at running back against the Chiefs.

With Myles Gaskin joining Matt Breida on the COVID-19 list while Salvon Amhed nurses a shoulder injury, Washington is the last man standing. He was limited in Wednesday and Thursday's practices after missing Week 13 with a hamstring issue, but he was removed from the injury report on Friday. Washington will be backed up by a highly-ineffective Patrick Laird and practice squad back Elijah McGuire. The Chiefs are more vulnerable on the ground than through the air, so there is a very realistic path to 12-14 touches, and more if Washington's hamstring holds up. He is in the low-end RB2/FLEX mix for the first week of the fantasy playoffs.

im rolling with him.

Injuries have me limping into the playoffs.
He has a shot at having a good day...imo its a gift from the fantasy Gods

DeAndre Washington rushed 13 times for 35 yards in the Dolphins' Week 14 loss to the Chiefs, adding two receptions for 17 yards.

Washington was the last man standing in the Dolphins' backfield after Myles Gaskin was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday. The veteran was serviceable against his former team. He was unable to punch in a goal line carry late in the ballgame after an impressive Miami drive. Washington might retain fantasy relevance next week against New England if Gaskin misses another game on the COVID-19 list.
