NHL Season Thread: TB wins and Kucherov loves beer (2 Viewers)

I wasn't really sure why the first doc/trainer was trying to sit him up so quickly. 

Terrible scene,  really and frankly I congratulate perry for accepting a fight he really should not have had to.

 
Whose idea was it to give the Tampa Bay fans those paddle ball things?

Those make about as much noise as an air fart.

The NHL is kinda garbage right now... NHL sent the wrong message when they didn't suspend Tom Wilson for his antics against the Rangers... the league would be better if they move away from the "old time playoff hockey" crap, IMO.

Yeah, seemed pretty clear that the injury was just a freak accident and in no way intentional. Pretty dumb to instigate a fight over it.

Honestly, fighting in hockey is dumb. Everything other sport you get thrown out for fighting because throwing punches is outside the game. That includes football which is at least as physical as hockey.

Stl found something in that 2nd period of Game 1, but they just haven't been able to do anything since. It is so nice to actually see some Av's games for a change--stupid Xfinity/Altitude beef has blocked every game this year.

In fairness, Corey Perry has a history of being a #### and he has a history with Taveras.

That was a freak accident. He didn't try to hurt him.

Corey is an agitator. He will do a lot of crazy stuff in the crease and around the playing benches to get under the skin of an opponent, but not what happened yesterday.

Link to a history with Taveras?  Announcers during the game last night said that Perry and Taveras were good friends.

Perry did a great job understanding the situation afterwards and dealing with it.

 
The Bolts played like crap on Thursday and still almost won. They need to play better today and try to end this in 5. The Panthers have had Vasilevskiy’s number all season, so ending it quickly is better for all parties.
