He's Safety eligible on Yahoo, and is listed as the starting WLB on the Jets' depth chart. Watching preseason seems to confirm that. Anybody have anything on this guy? Would love to plug him into one of my DB spots if he's going to be a 3 down WLB for a team with a potentially bad offense (though Zach Wilson might change that)

Absolutely add him if he's designated S. He is their starting WLB and the injury to Jarrad Davis could mean he gets a crack at a 3 down role.

Problem is he doesn't look very good on film. Seems not to be around the ball very much and shy away from contact when he is. Anybody seen the same, or something different?

Always depends who you have to cut, really. If it's a free roster spot or a churn spot, get him. The upside is there with a huge opportunity. Plenty of bad LBS have had great IDP seasons.
