I'm finally gonna get to Cooperstown this summer with a couple of buds. About a 3.5 hour drive.Anything special I need to know/see?
Just check it all out. Take your time. And you'll probably get a little bit bored by the end (there's just so much), but keep going because you never know when you'll be back.

I went to Cooperstown. It ####in sucked. The museum is very small. 4 hour drive and we were in and out of the museum in about an hour.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: It's the best museum in the world. and I've been to the Louvre. If you only stayed an hour not only are you not a baseball fan, but you're also a blithering moron.

List of people who would stay at the Baseball hall of Fame for more than an hour:Greased-up deaf guyTwo teenage girls with working smartphonesSimon Cowell The chicks from Two Broke GirlsLee Majors egoSalman Rushdie with no disguise

The Louvre would be much better if they expelled all artists suspected to have drank Absinthe

It can't possibly match Canton, can it? I asked them if I could set up a cot in the PF HOF.

Been to both -- very disappointed by the football HOF. Sounds right about setting up a cot, cause it felt like it was about the size of someone's bedroom.

Much better than Canton IMO. Everyone I know that I trust in these things says the same.

I'm passing your comment around the internet, you're pretty much a laughingstock.

Counterpoint: very few liberal college-age females wasting away the afternoon at the Baseball HOF that you can impress with your knowledge of the dead ball era before whisking them away across the banks of the Otsego Lake to get drunk.

"Is the guy from the Jersey Shore by chance?""Close, Staten Island.""Oh...that makes sense then. Did he try to sneak in well vodka and generic Cracker Jacks into the Coop?""I wouldn't doubt it, he thinks Jeff Kent is the greatest 2B in baseball history.""lololololol"

I think my biggest complaint was that it was very small. I wanted to go to say I did it. But when you have a 4 hour drive and are only in the actual museum an hour and a half at most it seemed like a waste to me. I also thought there would be more to do around there but was quite disappointed. Honestly, I think I set my expectations too high to be in some baseball wonderland and it wasnt that for me. The museum is cool and all and they have some cool exhibits but Im not gonna sit there and read every single persons plaque and the placard of every piece of memoribilia. The plaque room was amazing though.

I've driven four hours one way for a taco. If I was four hours from Cooperstown, I very well might be up there every weekend.

An hour? It takes me longer than that to get through the Reds HOF, and I go more than once a year.

I want to know more about this taco.
Grilled chicken, shredded lettuce, queso fresco, I add fresh squeezed lime. Two of those and a steak torta, with grilled fajita steak, slight layer of re-fried beans, shredded lettuce, slight onion and cilantro, shredded cheese. I hit this with some lime as well.Guacamole made fresh, and insane chips and salsa. I would eat there often enough that depending if I was with my ex-wife or alone, I didn't have to even order. They would have a table with chips, salsa and a Negra Modelo waiting. There is a reason I went from 195 to 225 in less than 18 months. This might have had something to do with it.

If you google Taco Hall of Fame, the top four results reference Justin Verlander and Kate Upton.

Kelvim Escobar signs a minor league deal with the Brewers. He won 18 games in 2007 but has 5 IP in the five years since.

Major League Baseball and the players' association have reached an agreement to expand the sport's drug program to include random in-season blood testing for human growth hormone and a new test devised to catch players using testosterone.

Just Upton declines trade to Seattle.
If you're an offensive player and you have the ability to void a trade to Seattle, you do it. Good move.
The Safeco fences have been moved in this year.Odd for a 25 year old player to have limited no trade privileges.
According to Ken Rosenthal, Mariners were just one of four teams on his no-trade list. Maybe he just doesn't like rain that much. :shrug:Braves would make sense, where he could play with his bro.
