What a horrible season. I'm hoping somebody that actually cares and prepared for this season is having the same disappointing season that I am. Not that I would wish it on anybody. Brees, LJ, Evans, Colston.. Can someone help my team find the end zone?!?!? Maybe Isaac Bruce will repond to this thread.

I was with ya until last week.

Finally got off the schneid this week thanks to TOs disappearing act.

Which is beyond me, because I have a solid team without majoy injury problems, I just keep getting buzz sawed. Had a great day against Moss and Smith, hell, I had a great day and lost to Kevin F'ing Curtis one week. It's a crazy game.

A draft of:

1. Steven Jackson

2. Clinton Portis

3. Marc Bulger

4. Lee Evans

5. Todd Heap

6. Reggie Brown

Leaves you 0-5.

A draft of:

1. Maroney

2. Portis

3. Walker

4. Evans

Also leaves you 0-5 :hijacked: :bag:

To look on the bright side...my division is weak and Im only 3 games out of first.

I also have Vernon Davis (Watson as a backup TE). Had someone told me that Maroney, Walker, Evans, and Davis would have zero TD's through the first 5 weeks of the season I would have laughed at them :bag:

Not that shocking in a 12 team league, both QB's are on 2 of the top run 1st offenses in the league. Green & foster came into the season with big ?'s. Green not healthy, Foster/D. Williams playing time. Bush/Duece, well Bush got the better of that partnership.CJ and Roy top 5's, Edwards is a pleasant surprise. Winslow obviously has huge potential, but planning on starting a WR and TE from the Browns?Kicker & Defense Who cares. jst my opinion, you posted it. :goodposting:

Last year I stared 0-5, won in week 6, then proceeded to go 3-4 down the stretch for a combined 4-9 record. Not only that but I lost in the Loser Bowl to complete my worst season ever.

Moral of this story. Quit now. You are not making the playoffs so save yourself the frustration.

Here's the 0-fer team in my league... i think he might've had a win or two but he benched Jamal Lewis for his 200 yard day... and then the next week Ronnie Brown broke out w/ a 200 yarder while Lewis tanked in the starting lineup.

The common thread i see between the majority of teams posted so far is: LEE EVANS

Glad to see I'm not the only one. This year was my 12th draft and in the previous 11 years I've never drafted from a slot higher better than 7th (we do a random number draw every year). This year I got the #1 slot and left with a team that was a lock for a paycheck. It's a 12 teamer no PPR and I've bolded the starters.

Hello 0-5 and I've never even been close to winning. This is the year that FF finally broke me. I now humbly admit that FF is entertainment only and no skill of mine is responsible for the year that my name got engraved on the trophy. I will no longer explain to the wife that FF is simply a smart financial investment, not gambling. :wall:

just wondering, whats the best record of a team that has had Lee Evans on their team since the draft? In my league, as well as many other teams in this thread, the person with Lee Evans is 0-5.

We play three games a week. I am 4-11. It hasn't helped that my drafted number 2 RB (Ahman Green) has missed two games and got me practically nothing the week he got hurt) and my drafted number 3 RB (McAllister) did nada before being lost for the year. Factor in Frank Gore's slow start with Lee Evans and you see why I am 4-11. I haven't had a losing season in a long time, so this blows.

Sort of related, but I adopted a TD only dynasty team in a 12 team league and "won" Evans in our FA pre-season auction. Looks like I'm overpaying (contract league) for him the next 3 years... Here's hoping he can get it going in the 2nd half of the season.Team:Kitna, Schaub, HarringtonSA, Westy, Morris, C Brown, Leon W, NorwoodS Smith, Coles, Bowe, Welker, Evans, D Henderson, L Robinson, HackettWinslow, CooleyWilkins / SD4-1 - but 2 games were 'lucky' w/ average scoring, but playing a team that stunk it up. I've only started Evans once (week 1).

Add me to the list.

QB's-Leinart, Big Ben, Pennington, Derek Anderson, Boller, Clemens

RBs- Steven Jackson, Adrian Peterson, Brandon Jacobs, Derrick Ward, Fred Taylor(just traded away), and other scrubs

Wr's-Lee Evans, Cotchery, DJ Hackett, Welker, Reggie Brown, and other scrubs

TE's-Cooley, Eric Johnson, Baker

K-Gould

Def-Bears

oh how the injuries and underperforming have hit me to an 0-5 record.

Here's my 0-fer squad:

TOUCHDOWN ONLY, start 1 RB, 1WR, 2 FLEX (RB/WR), 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF

QB - ROETHLISBERGER, HASSELBECK, SCHAUB

RB - TRAVIS HENRY, WILLIE PARKER, SEAN ALEXANDER, KEVIN JONES, SELVIN YOUNG

WR - BOLDIN, SANTONIO HOLMES, JAVON WALKER, DONALD DRIVER

TE - ERIC JOHNSON, OWEN DANIELS

K - RACKERS

DEF - MIAMI

Personally, I thought this team would be ridiculously good. Not quite.

I'm 0-5 and it hasn't even been close. I'm averaging 19 points a week. First place currently averages 47.

The guy who drafted Lee Evans in my league is 0-5 too. He is the only one without a win in our 12 team redraft.

Team with Evans in my not-so 'highly competitive' $$ league is 5-0. He's started him all but one week for a total of 3 points.

Evans was dropped last night for Engram in my other league. I picked up Northcutt instead.

Nice to see others sharing my misery.

Started the year with:

Leinart/Schaub

Bush/Henry/Jacobs/J. Jones

Santana/Porter/C. Johnson/Shockey

Through trades and FA, my team now looks like:

Warner/Schaub

Bush/Henry/Jacobs/C. Brown

Berrian/C. Johnson/Bowe/Shockey

Last week was the first week I could have actually won, but my bench outscored my 1st team. I bet heavily on Henry this year (he has 9 mouths to feed!). Guess I'm the idiot. My main problem is that these guys are all good, but none of them sniff the endzone. Except for Jacobs, I've been fairly injury free this year (I dumped Leinart a couple of weeks ago).

Oh, for those of you with LT, take heart. I'm playing him this week, so he's going to get 3 TDs.

Out of all of you in this thread, I think I win the Joe Bryant "Bad Luck" award.

This team is 0-5 if you can believe it..................I've bolded the current starters.

QB Brady

QB Big Ben

RB S.Morris (drafted him)....started him after Jackson went down

RB Edge James

RB D.Foster

RB Cadillac

RB S.Jackson

WR TJ Housh

WR Boldin........................................(have since picked up B.Johnson while he's hurt)

WR V.Jackson

WR I.Bruce.......................................(have since picked up Randle El while he's hurt)

K Vinatieri

DEF Dallas

WHY AM I 0-5 you might ask when I've got the #1 QB, a top 5 RB, a top 5 WR, a top 5 kicker and I managed to draft pretty good depth in spite of the injuries?

MY wkly scoring rank...........Opponent's rank

Wk 1:......2nd....................1st (Tony Romo's huge game)

Wk 2:......2nd....................1st (Carson Palmer's huge game)...this opponent set our league's all-time scoring record

Wk 3:......2nd....................1st (Favre + Westbrook + 2 Def scores)...this opponent BROKE the wk2 scoring record above

Wk 4:......3rd....................2nd (I lost by 2 pts)

Wk 5:......3rd....................2nd (I lost by 1 pt.......I'm still hoping they chg Edge's TD in the stats)

[and btw, this league's been around for 10 years so those records are hard to break]

Currently, I'm the TOP SCORING TEAM..........(the next highest is almost 50pts behind me)

I'm also the most scored upon......................(the next highest is almost 85pts behind me......think about that one for a second)

What's even funnier is that currently, I'm 6th or 7th in the POWER RANKINGS.........and I haven't even won a game!

Please tell me who has my Vodoo Doll and is $#@%$#%# with me!

Calgon.....take me away.

0-5

Drafted FWP, MJD, Housh, Ahman, Deshaun, Braylon, Santonio, Gates, Alex Smith, Schaub, Calvin Johnson (Can't remember the specific order)

Picked up Warner this week.

Since I've never been 0-5, here's a question to all of you.

If your league charges transaction fees, at what point do u start to consider not picking up players b/c it's not worth spending any more $$ on a lost cause.

I mean, I'd never try to tank a game, and I'm still going to put out my best lineup that I've got...............but who would blame me if I didn't make another single transaction this year?

For example in poker, if you're having a bad run and you get dealt horrible cards..........you're not going to keep throwing money in the pot.

You play to win the game! I would pick up players for $$ even if I was 0-14 just to screw the other owners.

Well, we get money for each win and lose money for each loss (we play three games a week), so if you can get a player that will help you win games, it is worth paying the transaction fee, to get that player. For example, last week, I picked up Kenton Keith. Without him, I would have went 1-2 instead of 2-1, so the $5 transaction fee was worth the $8 swing in my direction (we get $5 for each win and lose $3 for each loss).

I didn't get home until after the early games started this past week and ended up with Green in my lineup instead of Keith. That cost me my first win this week.

I have Evans in another league and am actually 3-2 despite him.

At $2 a transaction I've already raked up $24 in waiver wire pickups and IR moves - first Jacobs and now Addai (is it unusual to use an IR to clear roster space for injured players but still keep them on your roster?) - but there's a weekly payout for high points which I hit Sunday so I'm +$26 for the season. Finished last season 6-8 and continued to pick stuff from the WW, both to try and get high points (did it twice even though I missed the playoffs) and take good ww stuff away from other teams.

Finally a team that looks a little like my 0-5 team. And to think, since week 2, I have had the top WW priority, and it hasn't meant jack squat.QB: Kitna, Jason Campbell, Kurt Warner (my newest WW prize)

RB: FWP, Portis, Norwood (supposed to be my Flex), Brian Leonard, Kenny Watson (previous weeks' WW prizes)

WR: Chad Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Santana Moss, Greg Jennings (I really liked that group!)

TE: Cooley

K: Hanson

Def: Committee (has included Dallas, Carolina, and now Houston)

12 team league, top 6 make the playoffs. I still have hope, but if I drop this (or any other) week...

Coming from a Bills fan....

To touch on the Lee Evans thing further, I can't see why anyone drafted him as their WR3, let alone WR1. The Bills are facing the toughest schedule in the league with a crappy QB and a Defense that was crappy before everyone got hurt.

The guy that has him in our 12 team league is tied for 11th, which also means he's tied for last. The guy he's tied with...yep, he has the rest of the (draftable) Bills.

Although I cannot substantiate the following statement in anyway via link, signed affidavit, etc., here was my stance on drafting Lee Evans: He was undraftable IMHO.

Good luck to the 0-fers. Hope you get one this week.

The thing that's crazy about Lee Evans is that all the other guys that were on the same tier as he are also stinking up the joint. I thought there was a bonanza of WR's available in the late 3rd-4th rounds of fantasy drafts but guys like Walker, Driver, and Colston have all not lived up to expectations this year.

That last comment is ridiculous. Undraftable? Right. I am sure you said that before the season started, too. Let's face it, anyone who was down on Evans still thought he would be a decent number 2 or 3 WR at worst. No one could have predicted him sucking this badly. And if you claim you did, feel free to link me to the thread where you said it, and I will give you props.

Winslow obviously has huge potential, but planning on starting a WR and TE from the Browns?

Kicker & Defense Who cares.
