BUSH HEALTHY; THOMAS HURT: Saints tailback Reggie Bush fully participated in Thursday's practice, a sign that he has almost completely recovered from the bruised shin that limited him last week.
"Everything feels good. I'm 100 percent, ready to go for the game this weekend," Bush said. "It was just one of those injuries that lingered on for about a week and a half. Now it feels good, and it's pretty much a done deal."
One of his backups, Pierre Thomas, might not be available Sunday, however. The rookie tailback missed practice Thursday with a bruised kidney.
Thomas injured his kidney in last Sunday's game at Carolina, though he doesn't know when it happened, because he didn't feel any unusual soreness. The injury was discovered after he had blood in his urine.
He seemed all right after initial tests, but he had more blood after Wednesday's practice.
"That's not your usual injury. You don't see that every day. I almost fainted," admitted Thomas, who said he has felt great all along and expects to heal quickly, based on what he has heard from the team's medical staff. But he isn't sure if he will get the green light to play Sunday.
"They'll find out more (today)," Thomas said. "They just want to be careful."
The only other player on the Saints' injury report was backup defensive tackle McKinley Boykin, who missed Thursday's practice with a knee injury.
