I dont know much about Hill but Smith is no statue. He is VERY mobile.

If you're starting Gore even slightly because of where you drafted him, you need to learn the complex economic theory of sunk costs.mizeners said:

Sure he hasn't had a season like last year, but in my league, he's the 12th ranked RB by points. In a 12 team, 2 RB PPR league, he basically a must start every week. I think it's pretty simple... he's playing Cincy, who doesn't have a great run D and he should get a lot of receptions out of the backfield. If you have another strong option, you bench him. If not, you have to start him. I certainly don't recommend starting someone based upon draft position who is having a terrible year (i.e. Santana Moss, who I do have : ) ).
He got 11pts in my PPR league.Gore is a decent 10pts per week in PPR, so I'm definitely considering him over Young and Jacobs. With that rookie in this week, there will be a heavy dose of Gore vs a CIN D that gives up 116 on the ground and 231 in the air. I see Gore getting 15 pts in yards/receptions in a PPR with all the check downs Hill will throw to him when the deep ball isn't open. Gore might not score a TD tho.So if you want a safe 10-15 pts go with Gore vs CIN D. I dont trust Jacobs to get me that much.Keys Myaths said:

I wasn't talking about Week 14, which is the week you're pointing to. The poster I replied to mentioned that he got 11 points every week.The last BAD defense he played (which is what I referenced) was 3 weeks ago against Arizona. He did OK that game.
Oh okay, got it now, thanks. Ya, Gore went off vs ARI. He did pretty decent vs CAR D the week after too (13.6 PPR) even if Dilfer's gunslinging INTs made it tough. I agree he's a good play vs CIN.
You just gonna ignore the Carolina game? Last I checked that was a bad defense as well. He scored 11 pts for me that week.
What was ignored was the dumoff pass to Gore by Dilfer. That POS is not a factor this week. Like The Moz and I said already, hello dumpoff. It won't matter what the play call is. Unlike Dilfer (who couldn't hit a WR to save his life), Hill will look for the safe pass.
Like me paying $160 for Jesse Chatman in a free agent bidding war (mostly playing keepaway from other owners), never playing him over the next 6 weeks, then cutting him. I'm smart real good.

I agree that Hill is the better option, but out of curiosity, what numbers do you base this opinion on? At what point did you decide that a sixth year QB who until last Sunday had never thrown an NFL pass, not completion, an NFL pass, was the best QB on they're team . I am puzzled how quickly a former Super Bowl winning QB can be so easily disregarded. Admitededly, choosing any of the three is like trying to pick the least stinkiest turd out of the bowl. Have you been watching any of the games?? Dilfer is like a gungslinging Brett Farve with NO SKILLS!! look at the CAR game 4 INTs, most trying to thread the needle to someone not even near the pass. He's absolutely horrible but throws wrecklessly with arrogance, and my grandma couldnt be any worse. So yes, Hill is easily an upgrade without even starting a game for SF yet.
He misses practice every week to rest the ankle.
In PPR, Hill will improve Gore with dump offs. He got me nice pts the last 4 weeks in PPR.
