Jackson is getting paid exactly the same as Whitehurst. Whitehurst's trade was the equivalent of a low 3rd round pick... not that much. And Jackson knows the system better than Whitehurst since he actually has played in it before. My money is on Jackson starting, Whitehurst has shown nothing thus far with his year on the team and the couple games he did play.You just did. Whitehurst will start. No, if I thought Tarvaris knew the system better, I would say I thought he was going to start the season. I think Whitehurst knows the system better, so I think he starts the season. I think he sucks, and might get killed behind the rookie right side of that O-line you are all excited about, so I think Tarvaris finishes the season. You can throw Leinart into that question as well.This is about as ugly of a situation as you can get folks. I really don't understand what Seattle is doing here, I wish their fans well.FWIW, I think the job is Jackson's to lose, he's got the most NFL experience and has shown some flashes of potential in Minnesota. My gut tells me he'll stuggle much of the time and we will see a rotation over in Seattle and that we'll hear towards the end of the season someone say on TV, "Well, it was just a year ago that the Seahawks were playing and winning in the playoffs, look how far they have fallen."

You sir are a guru. No, really. You were able to determine that after 1 season, Carroll has either totally lost his mind or has his sights set on Andrew Luck becasue this clown is the equal if not even worse than Alex Smith. With Whitehurst in there, they beat SF handily.

Of the starting QB's last year, only Alex Smith sucks worse that T-Joke. Whitehurst even QB'ed on a winning playoff team. T-joke will never do that....ever.
