Good times!
It's #2 on my list right nowGood call on Wet Leg...I may even go back to them for another song. That album is clearly my favorite so far this year.

Snipe here too. I listened to the album yesterday before picking what I did knowing there's plenty to choose from. That’s a snipe for me but there are plenty of additional great songs on the album to choose from.
It was probably Fountains of Wayne.
I totally missed that they released a new album this year. Huge miss by me. I take it this is another strong effort from them? That’s a snipe for me but there are plenty of additional great songs on the album to choose from.
I only knew a few songs of theirs before listening to this album. I liked this one so much I went back and listened to the older ones. I like this one the best.I totally missed that they released a new album this year. Huge miss by me. I take it this is another strong effort from them?
That is exciting and quite high praise. I don't think they have missed yet.I only knew a few songs of theirs before listening to this album. I liked this one so much I went back and listened to the older ones. I like this one the best.
20 songs too. All of quality. Some of the songs have more of a Bluegrass sound (perhaps that’s not the right term) but it all works for me.That is exciting and quite high praise. I don't think they have missed yet.
It's true but the other bands that do this that are top of mind for me are all also Canadian - The New Pornographers, and the band I just drafted.Sloan's multiple songwriters/singers has always been one of their defining characteristics for me.
I guess there was some band in Liverpool that did this too. It's true but the other bands that do this that are top of mind for me are all also Canadian - The New Pornographers, and the band I just drafted.Sloan's multiple songwriters/singers has always been one of their defining characteristics for me.
Also The Band (mostly Canadian) and Drive-By Truckers (not Canadian).I guess there was some band in Liverpool that did this too.

Travelling Wilburys for (mostly) USA but I feel like they don't count.Teenage Fanclub did it a little further north
I know they're poison around here but The Eagles from the USA would count.Travelling Wilburys for (mostly) USA but I feel like they don't count.
I will once again bring up Fanny. It's true but the other bands that do this that are top of mind for me are all also Canadian
I choose to take the song literally and that he’s really running away from pressure cookers3. Dazy & Militarie Gun - Pressure Cooker
Sounds like a mashup of Elastica, Beck, The Breeders and Black Grape, sort of

Definitely looking forward to their release in OctoberDeclaring the new Alvvays ineligible (for my own purposes) because July 5 is definitely 2nd half of the year.

Huge snipe. Saw them a couple weekends ago. Amazing band.Rd 2: The Regrettes - Barely on My Mind
He was great. Huge crowd, I'll guess in the 7-9k range. Free concert but still great turnout for a Wednesday night. There's one pub on the concert grounds and I got our beer in there last week so we hung out there for the show.I'm seeing Sam Roberts with his regular band tonight.
Was going to make this my morning pick tomorrow. I Like this one.3- Yeah Yeah Yeahs (w/ Perfume Genius)- Spitting off the Edge of the World
