I am certainly not EXPECTING any particular D to remain terrible, or even for any particular game to give Hill trouble with a bad game-script. My point is that unless something changes from last year to this year (e.g., they trust Hill more as a passing-downs back if they're in catch up mode)...
Yeah but there is a difference between just having a tougher matchup and therefore efficiency is not as high, and being game-scripted out, which is what happened to Hill in four games last year.
Week 10: Cleveland: 12 carries 55 yards, 0 TDs
Week 13: Tampa Bay: 13 carries 40 yards, 0 TDs

I'm debating him or CJ Anderson (or Gronk or WR) at 1.06 in a 12 team non-ppr standard draft. Feel like Anderson's opportunity is better, but Hill's talent is better. Both have the potential to put up a #1 overall season. Leaning Anderson right now as the Broncos oline looks like it might...
Murray probably has one of the higher ceilings among the top 15 RBs. He's in a good high paced offense, has a good OL, plays some weak Ds, is super talented, so if he puts it all together and they give him 20 touches/game, I could see something like 280 carries, 1280 yards, 40 catches, 300...
I think the point is that you have to have SOME uniqueness, and can't just go 9 for 9 with chalk plays.
Think of it like an NCAA tourney bracket. If you take the favorite like UK, so will 50% of the field you're playing with. Even if UK wins it all, you're going to have to nail your early...
As long as Gio is around, I think Hill's upside is limited. I agree that his talent is great, but SO IS GIO'S. Remember back to preseason time last year and Gio was going in the early 2nd round as the next Ray Rice. I think with a healthy Hill and Gio, we'll see weeks where Hill gets 20+...
I'm having a hard time with Big Ben in the top 5-6 of most rankings this year. Everyone is assuming he is just going to throw another 4900+ yards and 30+ TDs. Look at his career stats. Other than last season, the guy has never thrown more than 4328 yards. He matched his career high with 32...
Andrew Luck - Think he is set for one of those historic QB seasons. D still stinks. Moncrief a year older, add in AJ and Dorsett, a healthy Fleener and Allen, plus the rushing we know he'll produce. I think he'll be in a Gronk-like tier by himself at the QB position at the end of the year...
For RBs, I'm looking for guys from the 7th round on who have a clear path to stud production with one injury. Not someone who will be in a committee if the stud goes down, and not anyone who has much value currently without the starter being hurt.

In my league that's been together with the same guys for 12 years now, we don't use FAAB money, but we do the 12 names out of the hat to determine preference order. Also, we key each of the three divisions by draft slot, so one division is picks 1, 4, 7, and 10, another is 2, 5, 8, and 11, and...
The D was awful last year too and Murray still put up great per game numbers.
As a Cowboys fan, acknowledging how bad our D is this year, I pray that Garrett/Linehan lean heavily on the run and short passing game to control the clock, a la what the Chargers did down the stretch last year. With...
So I've done several mocks this year and find myself frequently only taking one RB in my first two or three picks, employing some version of the Matt Waldman upside-down drafting strategy. When I look for RBs in rounds 4-7, I find guys with question marks as to how big a share of the pie...
